Castrated husbands

In January 2002, I started hormone treatment for prostate cancer. For a year I was receiving depot injections of Zoladex_LA (active ingredient goserelin). The packaging leaflet states that, "In men by around 21 days after the first depot injection, testosterone concentrations have fallen to within the castrate range and remain suppressed with treatment every 12 weeks."

From February through May of last year I also had a course of radio-therapy. So far, tests show that the prostate cancer has been controlled and, at present, there is no need for further hormone treatment.

I have been married to my wife for 42 years. I have 3 grown-up children and 4 grandchildren. I felt good during the 12 months that I was "chemically castrated". I have talked this through with my wife. She agrees with me that I should now be surgically castrated.

I shall be very interested to hear from husbands who have been castrated and how their relationship with their wifes and with their children have been since they became eunuchs.

My wife and i have been married for thirtysix years and for the last forteen monthes i have been on depo provera and it is the best year of our marrage.I wouldent think twise about castration if i could not get provera .I also had trouble with prostate and that has goon away altho i do have it checked often.At our age and if spouce is happy with this i would do it.

Since February 2002 I have been taking Herbal estrogens that I get from the Phoenix Project. Some men have poor results but for me the results have been that I no longer have any sexual libido. My penis is always limp and has shrunk to only about 2 inches.

My wife and I have been married for 40 yrs and not having sex is just fine with both of us. I have been taking a lot of the herb pills and I am really thinking about getting castrated soon. My wife is ok with the pills and I am a happy and content husband (herbal eunuch).
