Time to start planning for the 2013 MoM (Meeting of Members). We're still planning for the Greater Minneapolis/St Paul metro area, and dipping into a small bit of western Wisconsin. Any preferences for dates? Activities? etc.? Eunuch central has moved a few miles south to a small, nearby town. Nice place. Ideas?

Midwest MoM 2013
Re: Midwest MoM 2013
Shopping. Must have shopping, but NOT at the Mall of America.
The cheese shoppe was nice, although it was a bit of a drive, it was worth it.
I hope we see some new faces this year. I swear, I haven't cut anyone's head off with the light saber. I haven't even hit anyone - ever!
I mean, if that's why people are afraid to visit...

Re: Midwest MoM 2013
I'm very flexible at that time of year. It's just that, in the traditional location, we always had to compete with Minnesota on a Stick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-5Lr2IhB_o
Motel rooms were booked months in advance for the event.
With the new location of Eunuch Central, we can probably choose any reasonable date and not have to content with the State Fair (which starts this year on August 22). We could probably even plan a fieldtrip to see how many different "sticks" we could find at the Fair if we gathered at that time.
We would need the locals to scope out a new place to stay nearer the new home.

I'm really hoping that I might be able to come this year. It depends on the schedule, and whether I can get off from work or not, but I'm really hoping to. I really want to meet some of you guys!
(As long as this isn't a "no girls allowed" party, of course... :p)

My alleged research skills seem to be failing me.
I checked with the ULS, which did not hint at the new, improved location.

No all genders are welcome, we do restrict it to humans however as long as you fit into one of those groups your OK to come.

Yes, humans, a few cats and the occasional dog. Squirrels are well represented, but can be mollified with a few glasses of wine. --FLO--
