You need to break up long pig into age groups, like veal, calf and beef in cattle. For humans it would probably break up into infant, (equivalent to veal) adolescent , teen ager, and adult. Infants and adolescents would certainly be tender enough to grill or fry, particularly the modern well fatted ones, but it is hardly fair to consider foodstuff that young to be actively Christian. At most they have a pale reflections of their parents faith, so they haven't developed any real Christian flavor yet. So, of necessity, we are left with teenagers and adults. Now a teenager can certainly be good eating, particularly if you stick with the tender cuts of the loin and rib, but by that age they are already beginning to get tough, and most of the other cuts are going to have to be cooked long and slow to render them tender and succulent. And adults are even more so, though some of the very obese ones, after trimming and rendering all the excess grease, can be quite tender and tasty, as the obesity restricts movement as well as any pork containment pen around. Of course females tend to be more tender and less gamy than males, (sad we have no program to castrate the young to improve the meat like cattle and chickens.) And I must warn you about long pig offal. Hannibal Lector, notwithstanding, human liver in the very polluted 21st century tends to be way to strong tasting to be edible. Best stick to muscle meats.
