Man falls waist high into Nitric Acid

His mother said he had a broken pelvis to boot. This is an awful thing to have happen to anyone. I can't imagine what this acid has done to his flesh, let alone his genitals. The pain must be unbelievable. St. Barnabas hospital is where I had my perineal urethostomy done, great hospital here in NJ.

It is more amazing that his friends "jumped" in after him.

Amazing story. The roofer was 'fortunate' that the nitric acid was diluted and also that his co-worker was able to jump in to save him. It doesn't say that the rescuer was wearing protective clothing.

I should add that I wish the fella a speedy recovery. Falling from 40ft and suffering a broken pelvic must have been horrific.
