Snow Flower and the Secret Fan - movie SUCKS, book is good

Last night, I rented the movie "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan," and was very disappointed. This movie SUCKS and is not worth the cost of even renting it.

I feel it is almost my "duty" to warn anyone who might have read the book and thought the movie has anything to do with the same story... the movie is NOT about the same story as the book. The movie SUCKS, wait, did I say that before? Yes, I did, well it is worth repeating a few hundred times, the movie SUCKS! And not in a good way, so dear friends at the EA, take this warning and don't waste your money on the movie.

Oddly, the book is actually pretty damn good.

The book is available in print, and audio of course, and I greatly enjoyed listening to the audio book.

The movie sucked so bad I don't have adequate words to describe my disappointment, and I point out that the trailer for the movie is very very misleading... that is a common thing among really shitty movies - they have really enticing trailers that mislead you into thinking the movie is worth watching. Take my word for it, if you are unfortunate enough to watch this movie, you will not only want your money back you will want the time you wasted watching it back also.

After reading the book, I was waiting eagerly to buy the DVD, and to think I actually would have bough the DVD had it been available for purchase but thankfully I was only able to get a rental... Oh my GOD! If I had spent my money on actually buying this garbage I would probaly be suicidal by now!
