I had someone forward me the link to a website dealing with castration, and showing photos of the procedure.
http://www.beavercleaver.net/orchiectomy_slides.htm
I think I have come across that site once before, and the link may have been posted a long time ago, but I figured most new people don't bother checking old posts.
Looks real from what I can tell from the photos, and from the video and actually castration I have witnessed.
Well I hope people enjoy the link and thanks to (hamm) for sharing it with me.

Re: Website showing castration procedure.
I came, I saw, I smiled.
34 more days to go.
I think mine will take a bit longer then 30 minutes,
I am having the sac removed also.
Some pictures will be posted about Sept 8th or 9th

Actually the above link said
Testicles were removed using a local anesthetic in less than an hour and a half.
Although I would guess that removing sac along with balls would take more than 90mins.

I've seen this site before. The first two photos are of a guy that is posted on BME. As for the rest of them, I'm not sure where they come from, but definately not that guy. I thought I read somewhere once that the last photos (with the hospital drapes, etc) were not a human at all.
Any thoughts?

Well it is hard to say since you can't see the whole photo so to speak. I did find it a little odd that some of the photos show the"Cutter" not wearing any gloves and some of them he is wearing gloves.
As for it being a set of photos of the same guy you are probably right, in that they used multiple photos they were given or had found on net.
However the procedure does appear accurate and the photos do resemble the castration Videos I have seen, along with the one castration I have witnessed.

Re: Website showing castration procedure.
I rather think that some people are confusing castration with a vascectomy - the two are quite different as the vascectomy is merely the cutting of the vas- the tube that carries the sperm, but leaves the testicles well alone. Castration it certainly isn't, and it was me who pointed out that certain frames were that of a monkey. But at least it is a step in the right direction.
