I got me two Swanson's Hungary Man Carved Turkey TV Dinners.

TWO, not One.

I am Thankful.

After thought, if I understand correctly, political posts won't add to

the new improved reputation point system. So we now discuss

Thanksgiving on a Eunuch topic thread. 🙄 very interesting.

Happy Holidays to Everyone.

Especially the Mods who maintain a spam free board.

I want y'all to know, seriously - I appreciate being part of this community

and appreciate the above average intelligence of most and the kindness of many in this community.

I am Thankful for this community. Really.

Moi

PS I know of Lukefisk but never got a chance to approach it.

I am cooking three hundred pounds of turkey, two hundred pounds of mashed potatoes, a metric shitload of dressing and gravy and misc. goodies, and intend to have a hamburger and beer for my own dinner at some dive that is open on Thanksgiving, and I too am thankful.

Update:

There is a place for me at my best friend's family table. Always has been.

I just did not feel like it.

Well I got off the phone with another friend.

She wants me to come to her table.

Agoraphobia vs Temptation

🙇😵‍💫🙃

The menu is tempting.

With the forgiveness of the bored - ( board 😄 )

I may keep y'all posted.

Best of the Season to All. :)

A beer at the bar doesn't sound like a bad idea. Along with some super hot wings. Hmmm. I wonder if they've got some ultra hot turkey wings to administer at the altar in order for me to recieve my holy sacrament of capsicum with.

You could do like I do and keep a shaker of ground habaneros in the purse for just that very need.

Just be very careful that the lid be tightly screwed down. It can be dangerous if the stuff gets loose.

Its 4:30 AM, just finished making the stuffing and putting it in the bird, its now cooking for the next 8 or 9 hours. Pies are done, the only thing left is the Candied Yams, Mashed Potatoes and gravy.

Clean the mess, mop the floor, set the tables, etc.

I love Thanksgiving, I do believe it is my favorite holiday of the year.

Happy Turkey all,

River
