Eunuch Channel?

I hope all is going well with the documentary apparently for The History Channel, but I wonder what the future will hold. Your own channel?

Most everyone I've found is so inter-supporting.

The whole site is energetic and enigmatic -- and very well administered.

The chasm of dichotomy between the boards section and the story section has puzzled me. I came here to start writing, and to start writing better. I find myself more interested now in just blogging and learning.

With the stories, I have laughed my ass off. Then I read Pueros stories and learn it back on for awhile.

Then I pop into the boards and am impressed by the sensitivity and intelligence on all aspects. I've laughed harder here and felt more here than I have for some time. I have much more understanding and love for a TG GF, although we have drifted much since I joined (for unrelated reasons).

In closing, the following statement from the director/producer of the documentary gave me pause. I had asked him how he chose EA, and the response supports the rarity and uniqueness of the experience here:

Brent Henderson said: "I found this site through simple research. There aren't many websites that deal with this subject."

I wanted to start a thread to perhaps discuss in general how uniquely valuable this site is, how much thanks is owed to those who run it, and thanks to for those who positively participate here.

I remain slightly afraid of the pink chainsaw.

When I discovered this site in ~1996, the message board was the first part, then the chat. There I met some valuable friends who showed me that I was not alone. Those same people kept me from making some pretty terrible mistakes, and for that, I can never repay them. THAT is the value of this site, and for that reason, it MUST continue. True, there have been changes at the helm of the USS Eunuch over the years, but the site is still here. THAT is what counts.

If we can prevent one terrible mistake - whether it be the Ultimate Mistake or not, then that justifies our existence here.

Well said Paolo.

Someone once said that wisdom is hindsight disguised as foresight. Well, even after another year older, you, and the whole crew here, seem well-endowed with sight of all direction and plenty of wisdom.

I hope the documentary accurately portrays EA's altruism.

I hope the pink chainsaw stays away from NaziNuts' nuts.

🙏

I totally agree, NN, that this is a very amazing space. When I first found EA, several years ago at least, I was really attracted to the stories. Gradually, over the last year or so, I've become much more interested in what people have to post about their experiences and lives.

At first, I was confused and perhaps a little troubled by the apparent dichotomy between the erotic stories and some of the very serious business conducted in the forums. A wise person here, who is in a position to know these things (he happens to go by the name Jesus), pointed out that many of the stories are the result of men trying to work through their issues.

Others are maybe just folks having fun writing about what for some is an extremely erotic subject. If those provide a safe outlet for strong sexual urges, that's a good thing.

I agree with Paolo that preventing tragic mistakes is of the utmost importance and a very tangible benefit of the Archive. It's not inconceivable that I might have made one of those mistakes. I like to tell myself that I never would have acted rashly, that I think things through, that I know what I'm doing, but the reality is I don't always behave in a rational way. That's human nature. Emotions can take over and lead us places that we might avoid if we were thinking clearly.

Long before I'd posted anything here, I'd contacted underground cutters on at least four occasions and had some fairly lengthy phone talks. With some of them there was more than one call. Going to one of these cutters would have been a huge mistake for me. I believe that if anything prompted me to stop these phone calls, it was what I read here.

I want to make it clear that I'm not criticizing the path anyone else has taken. Most of the time, I have enough trouble understanding myself. I can never fully understand the motivations of others.

What I do know is that input from several people on this site has caused me to think, a lot, about where I'm headed and what's the best way to get there. To slow down. To face the fact that I am a transgendered person. To work with that and see where it leads me.

In my mind, this site has a second very valuable role. That's support. I've received a tremendous amount of emotional support from caring individuals here. I think I'd be having a much more difficult time now if it weren't for the support here.

The Archive has enabled me to go from a timid guy posting his results from a TG test to someone who feels totally comfortable with where he's at. A large part of that comfort come from being able to post in a eunuch and TG friendly environment.

I understand your point of view, but there are some really cool stories in the archve. For example Johnny was an excellant tale - it's just a pity that so many of the really good stories and authors seem to suddenly faid awaiy. Also, lots of authors aren't contactable. How I would like Johnny continued.

Yeah I guess I still like the story section a lot, but it is sad to me that there is not a lot of dialog on these boards about the stories. We don't hear much from the authors or get a chance to ask them questions. And, we probably don't send enough positive feedback for their work.

Based on a little vanity most of us have here about the little reputation point medals of distinction on the boards posts, I assume the authors also would like some stars and pips too. I'm not complaining, just thinking.

I too found authors like Rae to have stopped a story line and gone away. Pueros, although tedious on the brain, is clearly the best, in my opinion. I try to get through one or two of his per day. The issue with his stories was mentioned in a post by IEunuch in that Pueros historically is correct with castration of minors, and yet, as I understand, there are some legal movements to prevent such talk?

I'm a slow writer but I am working on a parody of the situation called, "Pommel us and Ream us" where the two wolf children will be born at the age of 21 because it is illegal to be born a minor, especially if born naked.

We'll see how I do. Thanks to all for this thread chat.

Hey Mickey and NN,

I totally agree there are some really cool stories on the Archive. I wasn't trying to say there aren't and I still read them, just not as often. I fairly recently did a 'review' of Paolo's excellent "Santa's New Elf" in the story feedback section.

I'll need to look up this 'Johnny' story!
