Yes I have observed this too. Normally, when taking a dump it would just drip into the toilet bowl and you wouldn't really notice it. I once had to take a dump in a childs potty when aboard a sailing yacht (everyone was asleep below and I didn't have access to the 'sea toilet' - I thought the potty would be safer than hanging my butt over the side). As I dumped, quite a lot of semen dribbled out of my penis and onto the deck. I assumed it to be nature's way of getting rid of excess seminal fluid. We had been aboard the boat a couple of days and I hadn't had sex or a chance to masturbate. I should imagine that if you masturbate just before you take a dump you'll probably find that you don't leak from the penis during your bowel movement.

Re: prostate leaking
In the 19th century, this condition was known as "spermatorrhea" and was considered to be a sign of "vital losses" resulting from self-abuse. Castration was sometimes recommended as a "cure" for this "dangerous" condition.
In fact, it's nothing but a normal overflow like the nocturnal emissions which occur in "wet dreams" (which were also considered "vital losses") Not only does it NOT result from excessive masturbation, it results from TOO LITTLE sexual relief.
Pity the poor young fellows who were ruined by well-meaning but utterly misguided physicians trying to "cure" them of a perfectly natural condition !

I thought I had an enlarged prostate, and as my grandfather died of complications arising from his enlarged prostate I took no chances and went to my doctor; back in 1999 I think it was. My bladder was getting me up in the night. I was also finding that it was taking longer for urine flow to start and finish than it used to. My doctor sent me to a urologist who had a feel of my prostate, declared it not to be particularly large for my age. He also gave me a flow test, the result of which he thought fairly good. He wasn't taking any chances and ordered a flexible microscopy - a look up my urethra with an endoscope, all the way through my prostate and into my bladder. He even let me have a look at my uretas (tubes from the kidneys to the bladder). There was a slight narrowing of the urethra through the prostate, but nothing 'abnormal' to be seen anywhere. I still had symptoms though (increased frequency, etc.) so he prescribed alfa blockers (Indoramin, I think) to relax the smooth muscle at the neck of the bladder. This did the trick immediately. Flow improved - I positively gushed - and I was able to go through the night ok. But there were side effects with the alfa blockers. I can't remember all of them, but depression was one of them, so my doctor changed my meds to another form of alfa blocker. On one of the pills that I tried I suffered from priapism (prolonged erection) - that would keep me awake worse than the irritable bladder. After 2 or 3 years on different types of alfa blockers I tried going without, and found that that I could do without them. I'm still not taking anything for it. I often get up to pee in the night, but usually only once, so I'm ok for now. To be quite honest, I'm not sure that my symptoms were ever really that bad. I was probably being a bit paranoid. See - you're not alone.

Re: prostate leaking
small prostate from almost 6 years on chems, and i get little fluid, but the fluid that does build up, i lacked the muscle tone to push it out (ejaculate) so it just built up. After a while that causes my urethra to squeeze shut, and its impossible to urinate. 1st time they shoved an incredibly painfull cath down even though they numbed with lido first, then on ultrasound then scope exam it was found I had too small of a prostate and it was full of fluid, swollen. Well a simple massage to express that fluid and i was able to urinate just fine, some flomax caused me to continuously leak prostatic fluid (had to wear a pad in my undies to keep a mess from soaking though!) and i noticed during during hard BMs i would express alot of fluid. I self massage with an aneros now becuase the urologist visits were very embarrassing, im a prostate centered guy as my penis has nerve damage so I O easily from the massages she or her PA did... cant help it even in such a clinical environment.
Anyways, the body very evidently needs to get rid of the fluid "or else" so it set the prostate so any pressure on it from anything, including a BM, will help empty it.
My urologists solution to the muscle tone issue was a combo of leaning male kegels and masturbating at least daily to "get things working again". It worked! I might not have much fluid but it comes out now.. for me the aneros massager is masturbation so so 2 in one... lol. (you use it hands free by doing kegles) I leak most of the fluid out during the massage so the O is relatively dry. If i added the pre-fluid to the ejaculate i guess im close to a normal low volume now.
