im 18 and i have had castration fantasies for most of my life, but only when i masturbate. a few months ago i broke my virginity and i always thought that would make the fantasies go away, but they didnt.

My fantasies have been penectomy-oriented, but I've had them since I was a kid. Three decades have passed, and I still have them. all they are to me is a turn-on, and i never really thought that it could actually come to me cutting my balls off. but, knowing that someone out there has had a similar experience as me and has survived it with many years of private pleasure gives me hope that i will be able to get through it without worrying anymore. and from what ive read in the forums so far, the people who go through with it [plz correct me if im wrong] are the people who feel as though there body part is not a natural part of them and should be removed, sometimes in a sexual fashion.

It's really difficult to say for sure whether these fantasies will ever become anything more. But the thing that is for sure is that since they only occur within the context of masturbation, castration has a highly sexual component to it for you. While it does not rule out that castration would be right for you if you do someday desire it, it does mean you need to be a lot more cautious. Once castrated, you would have no libido and therefore no fuel with which to enjoy it.

That being said, I don't see any reason to worry about this. Instead I would simply enjoy your fantasies for what they are. You may or may not someday truly desire castration. No one can say for sure. But if you do, then you do and you can deal with it then. Right now it's only a fantasy, so keep it that way and have fun with it

For some this may be true. However, there is a large population of people out there who really should be afraid, as you never know what sort of monsters might be hiding in the deep dark corners of a mind. You should always be at least wary of what lives in the forgotten recesses of your psyche.
