Rylet welcome to the EA. I am curious about your motivation for your curioousity about castration. Care to share?

I've just never received that much pleasure from what's down there to be completely honest. On top of that I don't consider myself to be a man by the fact that I have a cock and balls. The only use I really see for being able to get hard is for procreation, other than that I don't personally see a use for it because it takes forever for me climax and it's not particularly sensitive

According to your profile you just turned 18 this year. What you describe is not normal for an 18 year old. Have you ever had your T levels checked? There are other problems that could be causing this as well. I'd go for a full medical checkup before you do anything else. How would you feel if you could get things working right? I bet you'd like it quite a lot and may never want to give it up

it's merely curiosity for the long term, I'm not planning to even begin think about seriously until I procreate and that's a little while off yet. For the time being I'm just doing a little research to get an understanding of things in this area, I don't intend to do it without the supervision of a doctor or have it done anywhere but the proper place to perform surgery. I'm not quite that illogical and am merely curious about idea. In to the remark about T levels I do have a sex-drive that has a habit of getting in the way and could be considered overactive, but I have just been chocking it up to being a spry young male of large proportions (6'4).

I felt too nervous to give my real age I'm 18 and was a little leary of giving my real age for security concerns and the like, I'm not normally keen on sharing what's deep inside like this so please forgive my misgivings. The first thing most members want to do for a new member is to understand their motivation and help provide knowledge so the new member can make an informed decison. When castration is irriversible we tend not to say ya here is a place run and get it done. I am glad you are waiting until after fatherhood. Your thoughts may change.

First of all, this is not merely a life style choice. Second you came in here with a very casual "do me" attitude - that is, what are all the answers. There are tens of thousands of posts here. Utilize the search function. READ. And then READ SOME MORE. Read the FAQ. Read the non-fiction board and the Consequences of Castration. Read some of my stuff flagged in non-faction and in eunuch central. AFTER you have done your research so you have a good idea of what is going on, THEN come in and blaze away with well-informed questions, and you will get lots of answers. You do not step off well, either, with the age issue - it leaves you open to being distrusted. Additionally, you immediately defend against questions of your motivations - they are critical to being able to give good, sage advice that will not encourage poor choices.

My suggestion is do your reading. Then give things another start.
