Catholic school principal busted for prostitution

Louisville – Michael Schum, principal of Bethlehem High School was arrested by Louisville police on a charge of loitering for the intent of soliciting prostitution. Principal Schum, age 50, wearing fishnet stockings, fake breasts, and "all black leather" when officers discovered him “loitering in high drug trafficking and prostitution area.”

Schum, a Catholic school principal, is facing a prostitution charge after Louisville police found him dressed like a woman and loitering in an alley Tuesday night. According to the criminal citation, Schum, who heads Bethlehem High School, could give “no reason for why he was in alley... dressed up in women's leather other than for prostitution.” Schum, now on paid leave from his school post, is due in court on November 27 to answer a misdemeanor charge of loitering for the intent of prostitution.

The link includes a nice color photo of Schum in his office at Bethlehem High School as well as a copy of the original citation.

Oh my goodness! I ONLY he had met up with a certain well known SENATOR... both of them could have kept each other out of hot water.

So... I sincerely do believe that prostitution should NOT be a crime. As for the principal's prostitution, I actually hope he get off the hook for that. Now, for the other matter, of hypocrasy, that is NOT a crime, but it should be. I wonder what the good principal would have done had any student in his school been caught doing the same thing he was doing?

Since most Bingo Halls are none smoking and attendance is down he may have needed to find another source of revenue for the school. Growing up attending Catholic schools I remember lots of Bingo games as fund raisers.

...well, somebody would have gotten fucked.

...reminds me of a "Beavis & Butthead" cartoon where the principal of their school was bent over a bed in a hotel room with his pants down being beaten by a fat woman in leather bra & panties with fishnets and when Beavis & Butthead burst into the hotel room by mistake he screams at them, "Get out of here! You are BOTH expelled!"

Well at least he wasn't trying to get in bed with his students, and at least he was on his own time. To me it looks like an unnecessary intrusion of the state into his personal affairs.

I don't like these anti loitering laws, because they tend to be enforced rather unevenly. I think the intent part of the citation is questionable as well.

Obviously he's not very fast on his feet, but that could be on account of the high heels. He basically got busted because he couldn't come up with a good cover story.

I agree with Jemagirl here. It might be unusual but it should not a crime to cross-dress or at least it wasn't last time I looked. Nor should it be a crime to make a quiet advance to see if another male is interested as in the Larry Craig episode. Isn't it about time all of these archaic laws were repealed now that being openly gay is not a crime any more? It smacks to me of a combination of voyeurism and persecution. He wouldn't have been arrested in San Francisco.

I expect that the poor guy was soliciting all right, not for payment which is what the definition of prostitution is, but just for the company of someone likeminded. As Jemagirl says above it is better than messing with the kids as some tend to do when deprived of other outlets. He should probably have received a commendation for resisting temptations closer to his work🚬🚬

I felt very uneasy reading the thread starter and I agree with jemagirl and frances wholeheartedly, here's a male crossdresser, not unlike many members of the archive , living in a conservative part of the country, with a high profile job, acting on his desires and compulsions to crossdress, and in a narrow minded and politically correct society, has the misfortune to be "found" standing in an alleyway dressed as a woman ,nothing more, the rest is just someone else's interpretation of what human beings should be doing with their time and where they should be doing it and finally how they should be dressed while doing it.

So I guess the idea is lets be a little more like court tv and the national tabloid press and splash his picture across the country and try to ruin his life then being a compassionate and understanding site that you would think would be more familiar with diversity of all shapes and sizes and not be so quick to judge just for a cheap laugh at another's misfortune.
