Confusion in Indiana

Today daylight saving time went back to standard and once again those poor people in Indiana are confused. I would think be difficult to change time zones twice a year and not move, to be in the eastern in the winter and central in the summer, no wait I think thats the other way around, see what I mean.
So to our brothers and sisters of Indiana, you have our condolences. What time zone are you in again?

It may be more like Confusion About Indiana. They are the ones who don't change time. We Easterners chage to Daylight Savings Time in the Spring and back Eastern Standard Time in the Fall. While people in Indiana don't have to touch their clocks, we have to stop and think each time whether to move them forward or backward. We are the confused ones!

Last year, Bitch Daniels, our illustrious thieving governor and real estate broker, got this whole DST fiasco put through after several decades of it being defeated time again. It used to be, we DID NOT MOVE our clocks. We just 'said' we were in Central or Eastern Time Zones. No one living here cared what the zone was. We always knew what time it was.
Then, DST went into effect. Probably a good 99% of the population couldn't cope with it. Computers were not set up in Windows to change automatically, since Indiana never did it before. Most PC's you bought came set to NOT auto-change time if they were being sold in Indiana.
Then, to top it off, some counties in the state were on Central while others were on DST. It was possible for it to be 1 at your neighbor's house, and just across the county line, for it to be noon. In addition, you then had to know what county in Indiana you were in to know what time it was.
Then the government decided to move the day when we were supposed to change our clocks. Now, in addition to moving ahead or back an hour - no one seems to understand "fall back" either - they're confused on what day to do it. So are some PC's. Some PC's switched a week early. Some didn't switch at all. Some switched back after manually being set. Some OS's with no patch in Windows Update did other odd things.
Fortunately, no one really cares since it happens on Sunday mornings.
After all, what else is there to do but toy with all your clocks for an hour each morning, deciding if you're an hour ahead or behind?
The solution to this is simple: Set up a sundial on the summer solstice. When the sun says it's noon, it's noon. Set the clocks. Period. End of story. Don't touch them again.

Thank goodness that Arizona does not fiddle with this silly clock changing stuff.

I can never recall which way to reset the clocks. Was it Fall Forward and Spring Back or Fall Back and Spring Forward?
Must be the second one... Fall back and a Red Nun will catch you

Four weeks ago we drove from NW Indiana, La Porte County, down I65 to Kentucky and went through 5 time changes! What a mess!

just about every hoosier I know , me included have said the same and worse, and he thinks he is getting a second term
,
after a meeting over the licence branch closure sometime back, when one of daniels little gleebs showed up at a town meeting , and said, thank you for your comments,but mr daniels is still following his plans, just about everyone I know is either walking away from this election or voting for anyone but him,
never in all my yrs have I ever seen such , dislike for a person

since I was at work at 4am this sat /sun it really messed my mindup in one clock would be right, the next not, it got to the point I just looked at my cell phone,instead of the wall clocks, to keep my head straight on what time it was,
