Turning Men Into Cattle

Read an EA story the other day, which Ive since been unable to relocate, about a dominant man who collects slaves whom he makes over into cows. Fascinating story. Nothing erotic about it, not that Id know, never having an erotic impulse in my entire life, but a refreshing story. Refreshing because it does what fiction is supposed to do. Namely take the reader to a place he or she would probably not choose to go in the flesh. Too many stories I read on EA delve, often both tediously and circumlocutorily, into what I assume is the writers attempt to capture some erotic sensation or another. The result usually is not fiction, certainly not a story, but I assume it passes for whacking material for those readers of a bent similar to that of the author. And thats fine, if the reader gets anything entertaining from it. Mostly I dont. Recent exceptions being the Cow story, and another called Toilet Pig. Well crafted descriptions of a place most of us would consider akin to Hell. That, to me, is entertaining. Especially when there is no evident means of escape for the characters.
That said, the Cow story influenced me to think of a story theme involving turning slaves into horses to serve as beasts of burden for a dominant male rancher and his family. Not erotic, but a living hell for the unlucky horse candidates. Although I suppose there might be erotic value to some in the inevitable gelding that ensues when one of the more recalcitrant candidates throws and almost injures one of the ranchers family members. Also exists the potential for one or another family member to be inclined to apply spurs and riding crop with enthusiasm.
The real fun and entertainment for both author and reader is how this theme gets expanded into a full blown short story.
