how does the road go

Post by eefje46 (imported) »

Last seen my family doc, and asked if he had something for lowering libido.

he spoke of some nasty medication, androcur and hormones. and later that week i called him backand said i wanted to give androcur a try. He told me he had to contact an urologist becouse those are the ones who prescribe those medications. and later i got an appointment with a psy. from the gender clinic in groningen.

so far so good, does anyone know how this road goes further?

I take cyproterone acetate (generic androcur), and 50 mg per day is perfect for me. I am now chemically castrated, but must continue with the androcur. Would prefer surgical removal next year as I don't like long term taking of medications. I get mine without a prescription from inhousedrugstore.com.

I'd love to see their books and know just how many men are ordering non-proscription cyproterone acetate etc. :)

I read that the cyproterone acetate /Androcur has the least side effects - virtually safe to take....can anyone expand on that?

I'm not a medical student but their site showed all lab reports/tests etc...

Interesting that they sent you to a gender therapist and mentioned hormones....

But definitely continue on for a few months COMPLETELY castrated to make sure it's what you want.

It's what I want, ever since Jr came back awake I want him back to sleep! :D

You're probably being referred to a gender therapist to try to figure out if you know what you're doing. The gender clinic in Groningen should be familiar with all kinds of transgenderism, so that shouldn't pose much of a problem.

The rest depends on where you want the road to lead to. Is your feminine nickname any indication of that?

I do not know what i am doing i just wake up 4 til 5 times at night with a hardon. Futher i dislike the way i'am starting to think when i am talking with female friends. And what my name my real name is eef in the male form it is just a shortage with my age behind it. I am a male and i want to stay in that role. Although i do not have a problem with a little feminisation. I will just stay male.

The two major ones according to the literature are in the short to medium term a risk of impaired liver function and in the medium to long term accelerated osteoporosis.

Just came back, from the hospital had a talk with the psy, and now my case is going to the team to see what is the right treatment. I wonder what will come out.

Day 4 back on Androcur for me, it's FINALLY taking the edge off....that testosterone is a real killer when you haven't had it in two years!!

I mean it was to the point where a stiff breeze would....well you get the point.. I cut back to 25mg last night. Tonight and here out is 25mg

If the T level could just stay right where it's at.

Hope that helps :) I'll post more in a week on this one..

I have tried androcur -- 50mg/day, every other day -- and every dang time I lose so much stamina that I am short of breath and out of strength to do pretty simple and undemanding physical tasks -- within a few days. I stay in pretty good shape -- and know it's the androcur.

But - when I inject with 150mg Depo Provera i.m. I don't have the weakness issue. I'm using the Depo every 5 weeks or so -- no strength issues.

Mr. Winky, as I affectionally refer to "it", stays placid and doesn't raise up with any comments unless specifically asked to do so.

Ergo -- Androcur isn't what I want, even if it gives the desired result. D-P does the job without other effects -- so D-P is what I use. YRMV.
