"Electronic Orgasm" on TLC

I just watched a show on TLC called "Electronic Orgasm". I thought it was a very interesting program. Apparently by electronically stimulating a portion of the nerves in the lower spine some woman can experience orgasm even though they had lost or perhaps never had the ability to do it naturally.
What was most interesting to me was the difference in the nature of the female orgasm from the male. I have read some post here that seem to indicate that m2f transsexuals and eunuchs who are orgasmic have something akin to the female orgasm, I don't know how any one can know for sure if this is true or whether any one has even tried to find out if that is really the case.
If it is true that m2f trans people and eunuchs tend to have the female orgasm, I wonder if this technique might be of some value to m2f transgender and eunuch who are non-orgasmic but still want enjoy sex.
While I would never recommend becoming a eunuch of having gender reassignment surgery for a sexual fetish, it would be nice not to have to choose between being non-orgasmic or living with genitalia that seem like they don't belong between your legs.

My understanding is that a good and I mean a very good SRS surgeon, can do the operation and still leave the nerves intact, enabling the patient with the capacity to orgasm and be self lubricating.
Correct me if I am wrong!

weeeelllll...
Ive seen the program too, frankly, the unit he is using, is primitive. E-Stim has been something that is been in development for a long time, but no one has just thought to implant it in the spine, or have had the ability to do so. I have nerve damage to my penis, so it is VERY hard for me to achieve a normal O. When I was 15, i was handed a TENS by my doctor to try to help with my pain, but then i figured out another configuration for the tens pads, one on the glans, the other on my perineum, and it slowly brought me off to an O. Not a normal O I had experienced while masturbating, wich took me over an hour to get and wasn't very satisfying, but a O that built up over time, and then stated with mini contractions through my body, after a while they become more rapid and eventually instead of feeling nice, they fell REALLY good... lol.. My current GF has compared it to her O, and I cant argue after hearing from a few other females.
Flash forward 10 years and a company came out with the Erostek line of boxes, these are made for erotica estim units. Comparing it to a DMS, TENS, EMS unit is like comparing a calculator to a modern computer. Electrode placement had great veritory and configurations, for men or transsexual mtf, there is prostate to glans/neo clit, urethra to shaft / neo vigina. The configurations are endless really, many people get the tits and any other erogenous area involved.
While I was in my castrate phase, the estim was really the only way i could O. The nerve damage i had already had in my organ was amplified by the lack of T, so even softie Os were unachievable. I only have feeling in my glans, and later discoved, prostate.
While spinal chord implantation looks really powerful, I think after while it would get boring. With external trodes there are so many different configurations that can bring on all sorts of different responses...

Lesley,
Your statement is true. Two of my friends who are transgendered and have had the SRS are both orgasmic. They have told me it's like no experience they have ever known.
I can't wait for mine next year!

I'm not sure that the holy sacrament of hot wings when partaken of in a very slow and delliberate matter allowing the heat peruse throughout your every olfactory sense is all that different from some types of orgasmic experiences.
It is just so great to be hovering over the bar that you are drinking at in a pool of sweat and feeling the palms of your hands and the soles of your feet pleasantly tingling.

That's just endorphins, baby. Basically not much different than what heroin addicts feel.
You ought to spend an evening at a really good Indian restaurant sometime. They've got stuff that makes the hottest hot wings look pretty tame. It can be hard not to pass out from it.
As to the orgasm deal, men CAN orgasm like that, without any particular need to be transgendered, on hormones, castrated, or anything else like that. It's all about really understanding how your body responds. Too many guys start masturbating at 14 or so, in the way that teenage boys do, and become so acclimated to that style of orgasm that it would never even occur to them that they could have it any other way. But they can -- that's what tantra is about, although you don't need anything quite so fancy. Some patience and the ability to reign in that natural male sense of urgency will allow most men to have the kind of convulsing, spasming, mind-shattering orgasm that leaves them unable to move for half an hour or so. The kind of orgasm that just seems to go on ... and on... and can even leave them ready for another not too long after. And of course, being able to delay and control your orgasm has plenty of side benefits.

I remember Tom Snyder on his late night show asking a Transexual (m2F) "well... What is IT like? Is it better or worse or what?" And the answer was "Tom I'm sorry but you would not believe how much better it is..."
Now of course this is from a person born with the wrong "equipment" so I assume some small part of it is due to being "right" with themselves. But I think I DO want a status report after Nov!
But be nice. If it really IS that much better maybe better we don't know...:-\
