If you want your penis to stay numb the compression of the dorsal nerve of penis against the lower border of the pubic bone results in loss of function

of the nerve, and numbness of the internal portion of the penis.

If this nerve is severed or crushed permanent numbness will occur.

Surgically cutting , or manually stretching and damaging or detatching the suspensory ligament of the penis may also cause numbness in the penis. (Which is how my penis became numb, although the external skin of the penis is still sensitive)

andro phil, are you satisfied with the numbing process? It seems this would be a very effective form of chastity contol by a Dominant. A submissive would have all the urges and desires of sexual excitment, but not have any release.

Do you get any erections? if so how do they occur, mornign ones, looking at stimiulating material, or some other way. Can you get an erection from penile stimulation?

I know from my own experiences with extended use of a chastity cage, erections become less frequent after a few weeks.
