Reminds me of the old story called Plato's Cave.

I will give an extremely shortened version...

In this story people are seated watching the back wall of a cave, and all they see is shadows going back and forth. Then one day someone turns around and sees color and people going back and forth in front of the cave, and runs to investigate. When the person comes back he tells the others of color and all the wonderful sites that was seen. But the others will hear nothing of it, for it is wrong to turn around. So they continue there lives watching black and white shadows moving on the back of a cave wall. The person leaves feeling depressed at having to leave his/her friends behind, and yet joyous because a new undreamed of world awaits him.

Well I strongly dissagree with its the faith what do you expect.I am a christian and I do love my gay brothers but on the other hand if a church body dosent want gay folks in their pulpets that is their busness.I realey think today we have more people worried about the buildings and not enough of what God has or has tried to teach us.I will always go out of my way to teach the word of God to my gay brothers because that is my faith.

Faith is not faith unless you step back and question it, and look at it with a critical eye. If you just accept what you are told then thats blind obedience.
