Did anyone notice Osama wants the USA to convert to islam and do as the Democrats want and we will be at peace with the Muslams what is the price of freedom.

I often wonder about these recordings, that are suddenly released by 'bin-laden' . I know bush requires Americans to belive in his 'war on terror' which seems to be a a guise for my friends oil companies are in Iraq and we have to fool the public into beliving we are being attacked, hence invading a country and keeping our troops there.

It is true that only the Christian Right Wing of the Republican has the inside story on how this country/world should be run and to hell with the rest of the Christians who are middle of the road, Democrats, none of the above. Of course this does not take into account other religions in this country, which simply don't count, after all when our founding fathers started this country they based it on good Right Wing Christian Principles. That must be why they were very careful to put in writing the separation of church and state.

What really bothers me is the freedoms we have lost/given up, freedoms that our fathers have fought for with there lives and were ready to give it all away for a little safety. Well then I would suggest we change the National Anthem and remove the last line.

We are not safer today then before 9/11 and we sure are not as free, I for one would rather have my freedoms back then have a computer chip injected into me so our government can keep track of us.

As for al queda invading and "taking over", I don't think anyone (even little george) thinks that's within the realm of possibilities. What scares me is that the bastards could be running around here blowing up pipelines that run all over this country or mayby start lobbing grenades or mortars into refineries, blowing up or poisoning subways and trains. Even worse, if they got a nuke from North Korea, Radicals from Pakistan or Iran. They could bring that right into manhattan on a 24' bayliner and kill a few million while bringing our economy to it's knees.

We are safer because we have killed a bunch of those bastards and they are busy trying to live. Otherwise, we are keeping the fight in their back yard. Their is much work to do, but I don't see it happening when democrats are even fighting requirements to have a photo i.d. to vote. Freakin' morons...

I agree with you that a photo ID should be required for voting. Where does that limit our freedoms? It just keeps illegals from voting.

His asking Americans to convert to Islam is a bit like Jim Jones or David Koresh insisting that we all convert to Christianity. Except that apparently Osama ain't dead...YET!

A little understanding of how the Islamic faith thinks is in order...

Long standing tradition mandates that when a Muslim is about to attack a target they must allow the enemy a chance to convert. If the enemy does not convert to the Muslim faith then they are free to attack, kill, plunder, etc... Now many of todays Muslims no longer follow that belief, but it is there and in the book of Qur'an (there scripture). As a side note they believe that Christ was a holy man, but not the savior and the Qur'an has stories about him that the bible does not.

Anyways...Genghis Khan practiced a very similar belief instead it was surrender or die. If you surrendered to his forces you were allowed to live, and if not you and your town were tortured, killed, burned, raped, etc...and only one country ever defeated Khan in battle...Japan! The reason so much of Iraq is devastated today is because of Khan's forces. Unlike the Muslims Khan and his forces did not care what religion you worshiped. Also, the Muslims only believe in Slavery for those that do not practice there faith, and as soon as a slave converts they are to become free people.

As a side note...the reason Muslim women have to dress the way the do is believed that one time Angels looked down on human women and lust grew in their heart, and they came down and raped the women. To keep the Angels from ever doing this again it was decreed that women had to cover themselves.

One more note...the Jews believe they are the chosen of God because they were picked first. The Christians believe the Jews lost it, and God gave it to them. The Muslims believe the Jews and the Christians both lost the authority of God and now they have it! The Muslims and Jews believe in the Old Testament. Only the Christians believe in the New Testament, and the Muslims also believe in the Qur'an.

Who has the authority of God? I believe no one because God does not work that way.
