That was very amusing. I sent it to my ex-husband just to have fun with him. I know I'll get a good chew out phone call from it, and then he will send it to all of his boyfriends.

Seriously, when my son was growing up, there was a little fellow named Kenneth, not Kenney or Ken, who was in his bunch. He never wanted to wrestle with the other kids on the front lawn, he would stay in the kitchen with me and watch me frosting the cake and ask questions about what I was doing. He was very intelligent, immaculately clean, a little snippy, and took all kinds of lessons. As the bunch of boys got older, none of them wanted Kenneth around, and I felt sorry for the kid. I'm pretty sure he was gay. His mother was very protective of him. Not much thought of what it is like for gay children is thought about by the mainstream, however, things must be changing because my friend's grand daughter told us that she had been invited to the prom, but not the gay one. We questioned her and found out that that high school runs two proms.

The insurance salesman in the piece was Ant, who happens to be gay. So I didn't read it as homophobic at all. In fact I think this sketch was on The Big Gay Sketch Show, on the Logo channel. Some people will think it is homophobic, but it's really more of a satire on our culture as a whole; Black, white, Redneck, but most of all modern advertising and "Pop Culture" ( What the hell is a Be-dazzler any way ).

If I had Coming Out Insurance in high school I would have hired a body guard. Well body guard/male stripper. I thought the piece was very entertaining.
