Its been a while since I posted anything sorry for the delay!On my last post going to try androcur I Have been on it for 3 months but Im going to stop taking it becouse of my mood swings.I thought after a while they would end but it only got worse.Here is what happened in the last 3 months:

1st week:no changes

2nd week:no changes

3rd week: noticed my ejaculation was more clear looking and morning erections were gone.

4th week:morning sweats,clear ejaculation,harder to get erections

5th week:morning sweats,no erections,no interest in sex,mood swings were getting real bad.

6th week:droped down from 150mg of androcur to 50 mg a day.Just to see if the mood swings would go away.

7th week till now:still cant get rid of the mood swings there bad wow other than that im tottaly chemicaly castrated and like it feels good and I hate to stop it but my mood swings are starting to affect my marrage. I would like to try depo provera to see if that would be better than androcur.Othere than that its been a hell of a trip wow.

I would advise you to go down to 25mg per day, that is the dose I take to maintain my calmness. Since I do from time to time get exited (little) but all mod swings have sopped. Do it for some weeks (can take 3-4 as you where on a higher does)

or try adding an anti depressant to the regime. Be sure to titrate off and not just stop taking it, that will screw you up bad.

Hi all thanks for the support with all of this.I did drop down to 100mg of androcur a day and things seem to be going very well now.I figured out were my mood swings were coming from and it was from drinking a couple of cans of beer.If I dont drink it im fine.Seems like everything else is going great.

Glad to hear you are doing better. How has it affected your energy level?

my energy level was quit low after the first month but I have regained alot more,ya that did kind of suck when I work at a high paced job,maybe that was why my moods where getting so bad hmmm. maybe I never thought of that...

100mg as a maintenance dosis ? that is quit high, most men can do with 50mg/dag or even less, as a maintenance dose

Yes 50mg.should be enough,I did drop down to 50 on monday and I feel really good right now.Tha worse thing about chemical castration or like real castration its allot of body change and wow what a change.The wife on saturday wanted to have sex so we did try.I was amazed that I did get an erection not real hard but it was enough to penatrate her but after about a couple of min. I lost it ,Just couldnt get aroused enough and didnt really care,but we tryed.She was kind of upset becouse she was horny and she told me she really didnt think it was going to be that hard on her,I didnt no what to say besides im sorry.So I think we still can work this out some how but im not sure how to make her happy now with sex,any ideas?

Does your wife knows you are on Androcur ?

It is some kind of a contradiction, to go for chemical castration on the one hand, and then wanting to perform sexualy.

If posibible (but only you can evaluate & decide if desirable) have a candid talk with your wife about your desire for chemical castration.

Maby, you can decide to opt for a libido reduction instead of a complete chemical castration.

Allowing some sexual capacity, to keep the wife happy, yet damping it enough to make you feel comfortable.

Much will also depend, why you want chemical castration for yourself, is it to control certain sexual fantasies ? that could get you in trouble, ,if acted out ?

Or downright a rampant hypersexuality ?

You may even consider to wear a chastity device, and make your wife the keyholder, eventualy combining this with a low dosis of Androcur.

There are many posibilities, but I think your best bet is to have a open talk with your wife. Your choice to go chemical , has also an influence on her sexlife.
