Oops, another literary mistake to confess to!

I obviously need a quality control engineer to inspect my work!!

I do re-read my stories several times before posting but am seemingly completely blind to certain errors.

The warlord, who somehow became Aclan in this narrative, instead of Aslan, should be regarded as having the latter name!

I hope that this mistake did not spoil the factual tale for anyone.

Is it mere coincidence that this warlord has the same name as the lion (Aslan) in the C. S. Lewis children's book series titled "The Chronicles of Narnia"? C. S. Lewis was an anglican theologian as well as an author. His character, Aslan the lion, was intended to represent Jesus Christ.

Aslan is a fairly common Chechen name.

I think that I'm just about OK mentally but many would disagree with this assessment and, given the nature of the stories that I write, would like to see me locked up somewhere very remote and harsh with the key thrown away!

I find it helpful to leave my writing sit a few days and then come back and proofread it. I am never satisfied with the draft if I don't. It seems like I am too familar with the draft to find the mistakes.

Also, I print the draft out as two or three columns of 10 point type on a regualr piece of paper. That changes the reading dynamics and I find all sorts of stuff I am dissatisfied with.
