A New Whipping Boy (or fat, ugly old man)

"Loquacious dissemblers, immoral liars, stunted, bigoted, dark, ugly, pugnacious little trolls," is what A. A. Gill (a Scot) has to say about the Welsh. I don't know about people from Wales or others whose ancestors who lived there. However, knowing myself well, I can, on a persnal basis about only me, to this description of myself. 🍑👋

I have a wonderful friend that grew up in Wales. 'Salt of the Earth,' to use an old phrase. And though I haven't physically seen her in nearly twenty years; she lives in SW England; she has done many favors for my children and friends when they were traveling in England. Wonderful person!

I would love to visit Wales. I have Welsh anscestors from both of my parents. Even my French forebearers came to America through Wales.
