Eunuchs castrate 24-yr-old

Thought this was an interesting news story (I think its from India) and a bit different from the normal.
Amritsar, July 15: A 24-year-old resident of Kot Mit Singh Colony was allegedly castrated by his eunuch friends of eight years after plying him liquor. When Jaswinder Singh gained consciousness, he found himself at the local multi-specialty Guru Nanak Dev Hospital. Doctors said they did not have the amputated part, otherwise they could have reattached it.
They were my friends, but lately had been keeping a grudge because I was in love with a eunuch from the group. They had recently threatened me of making me a eunuch, said Jaswinder, adding that the group of eunuch whose names he had given to the police were also eyeing the property of Meenakshi. I have nothing to do with the house... I love Meenakshi, he said.
Jaswinders father Puran Singh said his sons life has been ruined. I used to warn him to stay away from them, but he didnt listen, he said.
Meanwhile, the police said they were inquiring into the matter and have identified and booked six persons. I have recorded the statement of the victim. He has given me some names that include Meenakshi too. We are filing an FIR and arrests will be made shortly, said Inspector Manjit Singh, who is investigating the case.
SSP Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh said a thorough probe was on and the culprits would be arrested soon.
