Re: what are some of your favorite movies
So many good ones, so little time. I guess I am more inclined to watch movies that have actors like Jessica Tandy or Johnny Depp. I watched one the other day called Eragon based on a book by Christopher Paolini a three book set written by this kid when he was 19. Its a story about a boy and his dragon.
I like adventure movies and one I really like is True Lies, there are so many.

Re: what are some of your favorite movies
As stated by Riverwind, I have so many favorite movies that it is hard to mention them all. I have a interest in History so my favorite movies tend to be of historical interest. They must be based in fact. Some of them are: "We Were Soldiers", "Zulu", "Tora, Tora, Tora", and "Patton". My favorite comedy is "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, World". I may be dating myself with the last one.

Re: what are some of your favorite movies
Thanks sag111 (big brother) This does put a person in a happier mood and gets a few things off their mind. As River said, so little time to watch it seems anymore. But for mine, I like all types of movies, I guess it just depends on the mood I'm in. I loved "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies. I still have to see pt.3.
When I'm in a cozy mood I love to watch "You've got mail" seen it 5 times now.
Oh yeah, I love action packed movies, I seen one called "The Marine" was very good. Oh! "John Candy" was a favorite comedian of mine, love his movies. Oh! Another cute one that gets ya laughing is "Bench Warmers".
So see, just depends what mood I'm in.

Re: what are some of your favorite movies
Movies! One of the very few things in life that I enjoy, nay, love.
Here are just a few off the top of my head:
-The Cuckoo (foreign)
-Casablanca
-Better Than Chocolate
-Harold and Maude (the best sound track in history)
-The Thing (original)
-Blade Runner (theatrical cut, not that POS directors cut)
-The Manchurian Candidate (original)
-Fairytale
-Key Largo
-The Unforgiven
-Pale Rider
I'm excited about the upcoming DVD release of The 300. Even though it is rife with historical inaccuracies, I intend to watch it as an adventure inspired by true events. I hope I'm not disappointed.

That is one of my "new" favorite movies sag.
Dr Strangelove. I find new things to laugh at each time...
They might be Giants *Dig to find this one. WONDERFUL!
The Odd Couple - Suicide Telegram??? Funny every time.
2001 - I loved the clean look of the future and the "balls" of the director to try to show a story where man meets a truly advanced civilization.
Slaughterhouse 5 (Not a slasher pic btw)
Someone mentioned "The Thing" (the original) I enjoyed it and the remake was dreadful... Another old classic SciFi is "THEM" you can't beat giant Atomic ants for entertainment.

Re: what are some of your favorite movies
Hmmmm. Well my favorites change according to my mood. Rite now I'd have to say: 9-5, An American Werewolf in London, all of the Harry Potter films ( I haven't seen the latest yet ) , The Mouse that Roared, Tetsuo 'Iron Man'
Well that's enough to start with
