sexual activity control?
Question... can a man who has been castrated control his sex drive by increasing or decreasing T levels? I understand that the effect takes a week or so, but is there a maintainance dose that will keep you masaculine in appearance without a huge sex drive,,, and then if you increase the amount... it returns?MAybe this has been answered elsewhere but I could not find a discussion of this topic..

Yes, you can increase and diminish sex drive, but it is far different and much more subdued (in my experience) than say picking up a jagging magazine and spiffy standing at immediate attention.
Without T, one is not going to suddenly appear like Marilyn Monroe. I maintain a very modest T level simply to avert adverse side effects (flushes, osteo, etc). You can see from the photo that I can give Marilyn some competition, in a rather butch fashion.... (and, yes, that IS me)
You will find, in my experience, that with diminished T levels, prostate gland will decline in size, as will corresponding ejaculations. Over time, i have found that regardless of the T level, interest is far more subdued (androgel just aint the real thing), and for the most part I don't give a damn. I am still interested, observant, and lustful; but also realistic.... damn!

Re: sexual activity control?
I am a 3 year castrate veteran and my gender doctor asked me if I want to maintain libido and ability to penetrate or not. He would have added T to my regime and he told me I would be able to perform almost like before my surgery.
Since my wife specifically asked me to "retire the stuff down under" and lower my libido I choose not to go this route but instead optimize breast growth.
A quick change is not possible, it would take 2 or 3 weeks for the medicamentation to kick in and he warned me that if I don't do it the changes might be irreversible after a couple years which is fine for me, I consider a Urethral reroute anyways and after that the retirement of "the stuff down under" is almost complete.
