In a couple days, they say it will be 108 at my place and your about 2000' lower than me so you might get over 110. It says 7 days of hot and then it will be back below 90 again. Sorry for the good news. My AC is running right now at 8:08pm. Hang in there. At least we don't have the Nun's humidity. You would think she would get a shorter habit and a lighter color. I guess she has to stay red though. Maybe pink would work when it's hot. 😄

Krister...

Send me some snow, please. I haven't seen snow in ten + years. Hell, I'd be happy with rain, sleet. slush, hail, frost even.

Be sure to drink plenty of good old H20 so you don't get dehydrated.

I'm in Manitoba, which in the winter months, is called "Manitscoldout" by many natives.

However, in the summer, we do get up around 35 or even 39 - 40c .

And, of course, in winter, its the same with a - (minus) in front of it.

For farenheit translation, use an online converter... or, you can always wait until the depths of winter; at somewhere around -35 or so, both F and C are exactly the same.

I like being at least somewhat 'green' and have never worried about air conditioning in the summer, but last year, we had a heatwave for 4 weeks over 34c, and that was it... I now am one of the many I used to scoff at that has both a high-efficiency furnace AND central a-c. I swore I'd never get it, but blame my purchase on 're-sale value'; I just bought the house I've been renting for the last several years. I hate paying for it, but wow, is it nice to walk into the house after mowing the grass now...

After all that, its only 21c here right now, so I think I can't match your temp, Mac. If you have no AC, open the fridge and put the fan in front of it!*

Stefan

*dear lord, please don't actually do that...

I goofed. I meant to say that at 6:20pm it was 96 F. not a mere 86 F.

Poor MacWolf, people who have lived there whole life in So. Cal think any temp other then 70 is to hot or to cold. They only have one season and most would not know what to do in places like St Louis in the summer when its 100F and 98% humidity or up here in the Twin City's area where winter can get down to -20 and stay there for a while.

Poor Mackie

I really think its his age thats having trouble with the weather, you know how OLD guys are.

yup...I shouldn't have complained about the heat yesterday.

Today at 4:30pm it's 98 F.

Then again, I live in a fracking desert.
