questions about chemical castration

Hi everyone, I have been a lurker here probably since i first found BME, which was back when i was 14-15(I am 25 now). I have always had a desire to have my testicles and even my penis removed as long as i can remember(i remember that once i carved a hot dog into the shape of a penis and then made it look as though it had been roughly severed from my body when i was probably 7-8). I have an odd sex drive(overactive for porn/fanatasies, but i dont like penatrative sex very much). I have other reasons for seeking castration, but thats not what this thread is about. I am a married man currently, but my wife has recently moved out to "clear her head". I have talked to her about castration before, she isnt very fond of the idea, but she grew up very old fashioned and if something doesnt seem like what its supposed to be she needs a little push to get her to realize its not as bad as she thinks. I am thinking this may be a good time to start chemical castration for a few reasons, one of them being maybe it will help me to keep my head clear and maybe fixing the relationship, without my temper and odd sex drive stepping in the way. As i said I have been lurking here for a long time, so i have read most of the options to me.

I was thinking of using Depo because its not to costly, but here lately everyone seems to be talking about using andocur. Can someone please help me decide on a drug to use, and maybe give me some more info about them?

Personally I have used Depo-provera and it worked well. I think it is a good and safe way to try chemical castration. It would be a good idea to get your blood tested before you start so you have something to go by. Do you know what your testosterone level is at now? Everyone seems to be quick to blame their problems on the T. It could be something else. It would be best to get help from your doctor if possible. Hormones are a very powerful chemical and if they are out of balance, they can cause all kinds of problems. At least with depo, it's easy to get off of. It takes about 2 months after your last shot to get back to normal. Also if all you want to do is control your urges, a smaller dose might take enough edge off the T so you can be back in control. Again, maybe your doctor can help with that, but they would probably want to put you on mind drugs instead. Get the T checked and if it's too high ask for an anti-androgen to control it. It might be worth a try.

thank you very much for your replies. I was leaning towards depo before i wrote this, but i think i'm for sure gonna try it now. I unfortunely will not be consulting a doctor on this, basically because of financial reasons, and I'm quite sure all these uptight conservative christian doctors down here in north ga would lock me away for thinking such a thing. guess all i need to do now is save some cash to order some. One more question though, if i was to order thru inhousepharamcy.com or one of those, does anyone know if comes with syringes or preloaded? I'm not quite sure i could obtain syringes around here easily since meth and other drugs are pretty rampant around here.

I'm probably not the biggest fan of this but I would suggest a pill form. One thing about using Depo is that it lasts a long time and if you try it and have a bad time your screwed for a long time...

Good luck!

I tried DP from Inhouse once and I think it came in a preloaded syringe with needle... ? Yes, I remember the first time I tried to jam it into my asscheek I didn't press hard enough and was all scared when I finally did get it in that I might screw it up somehow -- I was shaking soo much. heh.. :D

If not you can buy syringes and needles from veterinary supply places online (I used Froogle to find some for a different task from a place that sells supplies to vaccinate your cat) -- very easy to obtain and very inexpensive.

Farm supply stores will often sell syringes and needles without asking questions. --FLO--

I was very luckey to have very understanding doctors as they not only prescribed depo provera for me but my castration surgery when I asked for that also.It is sad when doctors look at us when we have problems they can understand so they wont help us when we need it.
