minoxodil (regain)is the only scientifically proven method(id give it a go.., but cant promise anything).......other than a hair transplant, ive heard doctors are working on a cure for male pattern baldness and within 10 years it should be there..but i wouldnt hope for it!

If women had this problem, it probably would have been solved a long time ago.

I watched a program on baldness and it makes some men so upset that they have attempted suicide. Well you know, men we have no voice...so society doesnt give a shit.

I've seen any number of women with balding paterns, some quite severe. Not at all as frequent as men, but still not unheard of. Nearly 50% of all men experience some form of pattern baldness.

If someone gives me shit about it, I blind 'em with the sun glare off my bald head, then stamp on their foot while they can't see. Fuck 'em...

Minoxidil (Rogain in US) is modestly effective but will not work if the follicle is completely dead. There may someday be a "cure" for baldness, but what of the costs? And why isn't that money being spent on things like HIV/AIDS? Cure that and I'll happily suffer a shiny head.

'Sides, there are some really hot, sexy bald(ing) men out there.... So little time....damn

Actually yes ive seen a few women with balding patterns aswell.....

Kristoff dont ever underestimate the importance of a good body image. A good or bad body image can make or break someones life.

Im sure there is enough money to go around for everything..

Ofocurse many men look good balding/bald, for instance jack nicholson looks brilliant!

but..we all have differnt faces and bodies and some people suit it more than others

:)

I fooled around with minoxidil and other stuff for a few years and did have some regrowth for a while, but it meant spending way too much time, effort, and money to accomplish the regrowth, especially only to have the hair fall out if you quit using it.

Now, I run the clippers over my head once a week and I'm done with it. I'm also done worrying about whether I have hair or not.

If any of these snake-oil products worked, there would be NO bald men.

Now, they say that castration stops male-pattern baldness. Just feel sorry for those balding women who don't have that option. . . . .
