i've heard of androcur, but im worried about the side effects - malignant liver changes in rare/isolated cases.

are there any other drugs without these risky side effects?

and are there drugs that reduce testosterone ,without making u permanentaly infertile?

Stnl,

You need to find a good doctor to answer that question. Generally low doses of estrogen will emasculate you over time with little negative effects on health. Do get away from the "desire for quick results," by taking large doses of anything especially Androcur. I realize you can buy almost any drug on line these days and in reasonable amounts, the customs people will usually not harrass you. The fact that you can get something does not mean it is good for you.

I always say go easy. What you want in the end is to be a eunuch and still be in excellent health.

Taking a dose of around 100mg of androcur a day is not all that bad on the liver. Taking 300 and up is more of a problem. Taking the lowest dose possible is always the best. It would be good to have a doctor check your liver function and Testosterone levels before you start.

I was on androcur for over 3 years.

The absolutly most efficient castration drug is Decapeptyl which is based on the active substance Triptorelin. It has the effect of temporarily destroying the feedback mechanism that makes the testes produce testosterone and within 20 days you get pre-puberty testosterone levels.

It has none of the side-effects of Androcur and Depo-provera, and is very much more effiecent, I know from my own experience.

I have tried Androcur (200-300 mg/day orally) in 2 periods about 6 months each, and in another period of 6 months Triptorelin.

During Androcur I could still have orgasm that felt, and I could sexually turned on, even if quite "light".

But wiht Triptorelin I felt nothing. I still could have erections, but very soft ones, and I also had some kind of ejaculations, but no orgasms.

I am know contemplating going on Triptorelin again, this time together with Paroxetin (a seretonin something anti-depressant that also reduces sex-drive and especially inhibits orgasms).

My purpose for this is that I don't want the ejaculations I got last time on Triptorelin. Because I still want to satisfy my wife sexually, but I don't want any ejaculations or anything that reminds me of my own sexuality, which I want to be totally unaware of.

With Androcur I still felt my sexuality and could get frustrated.

With Triptorelin I had no sexuality any more, only some empty ejaculations.

In combination with Paroxetin I hope there will not even be empty ejaculations.

My troublesome sexuality will be nothing more than a memory.

The only disadvantage with Triptorelin is that is not sold in the U.S. but then I live in Sweden.

I have 2 boxes of Triptorelin that is too old (they should have been used before march this year), but I have a new prescription so I will get a new box.

But if any one here is interested trying my old boxes (they might work nevertheless), just tell me.

Triptorelin is injected, but just as a warning: it is quite hard to inject it. You mix a powder with a solution and the result is pretty thick and hard to inject. My nurse has always needed to use another bigger needle than the one provided.
