Hi More to the reply I gave you on your other post.
Androcur is available in NZ. But how to get it other than from your GP is something I cannot comment on.
To get information on androcur relevant to NZ use go to
www.medsafe.govt.nz
again hope this helps
John

Yes, chemical castration will stop hair loss as long as it is working.

Depends on the type of chemical used, dosage, duration etc. You are very likely to become temporarily infertile while on the drug, particularly if you're on it for a longer period of time (more than one month?). For instance, see:
http://www.appco.com.au/appguide/drug.a ... 7272&t=cmi
However, keep in mind that even surgical eunuchs remain fertile for days after their castration. This is because there is still some remaining sperm stored in the prostate and the seminal vesicles.

Again, it depends. With Androcur there MIGHT be a permanent loss of fertility if utilized for more than a year (approx.).
3) how can i get hold of these drugs?
The drugs are readily available on many of the popular internet pharmacy sites, without the need of prescription.
Unfortunately, none of the so-called natural alternatives are very effective.
Some of the options could be:
1. Herbal "castration" (saw palmetto, pomegranate, soy, etc.). Rarely effective, and can even increase total t levels at the expense of DHT (as some of the products block conversion of testoreone to the much more potent DHT), though some have reported signifcant declines in libido. Some of these natural extracts have also been helpful in treating prostate symptoms and hair loss in some men. Need to be consumed in large quantities (within safe limits) for maximum effect.
2. Diet. You MAY achieve a significant reduction of t by eliminating consumption of cholesterol, dairy and meat products (ie., by becoming a low calorie vegan), particularly if coupled with excersize. According to several studies, strict vegans have somewhat to significantly lower total t levels (as well as lower BMD) than meat eaters, though the actual impact of this on libido and hair loss is not clear.
Alternatively, hypoglycemia (ie. protracted fasting) have also been associated with a significantly reduced gonadal output. In this case, the pituitary reduces it's secretion of LH and FSH (hormones wich stimulate gonads). This effect seems to be most prominent at younger ages, however, where undernourishment has been shown to significantly (up to a couple of years) delay sexual development in adolescents.

Once T. is eliminated, most men will experience a "freeze" in hair loss. When my levels crashed, my hair loss stopped, but it was already pretty thin on top by then. Genetics play a roll in hair loss, too.
Those ads just kill me - if even one of them worked, there would be no bald / balding men in the world...end of story.

I have tried many things to stop hairloss.
Nioxin, Androcur, and others.
Hairloss is mainly occuring because my
body produces more testosterone than
"normal" people. A bloodtest confirmed my
level is about 2 and a half above average.
With the use of Androcur 50 mg, the problem stopped,
but after a few months without Androcur, the hair fall
again. So here is what I did. I read in a newspaper a doctor
said that if for any medical reason, urine would go into the wrong way,
that is toward the testicule, this testicule would stop producing
hormone and sperms. The acidity of urine will destroy partly or
totally the cells that produce testosterone.
I bought a seringe on the street (about 3 dollars or less),
filled it with my own urine, then rubbing the left side with
alcool, then very slowly inserted the needle to the center of my
left testicule, it was almost painless, then injected a bit, then
retracting the needle, injected a bit more, to insure urine goes
every where inside the "ball". After about 30 second, the acidity
began to work, a slight burning sensation lasted about 5 minutes.
I knew it was working. This is the second time I do it in 3 months.
This first time I did it after I add a few glasses of brandy.
I feel no shame nor regret. Because I am quite vicious, I did not
touch the right side. I did not wish total anihilation of pleasure,
just the haft, to save my hair.
The result in the next days was beautiful hair, less drive,
calm attitude. I still enjoy pleasure, but less often. I am also
less "jumpy", less aggressive. I enjoy life better. I my drive
comes back like it was, I will do the same treatment again, on
the same side. At 52 I dont feel ready yet to become a full time monk.
Important for me: there was no reduction of my penis size, even tho
I was not really scared about this.
Before risking the other side, I would have to know someone who
lives without the use of both testies, how he enjoy his lifestyle, and
so on. I am tempted, but a bit worried to jump all the way.
I feel this cheap treatment is much better than Androcur and
hormones. Also, I am more "dry", I transpire much less.
I love this.
JM.
