My search...

In the many months that I have spent seriously pursuing surgical castration, through a variety of sources I have managed to locate a number of amateur and semi-professional "cutters."

--- DO NOT ASK ME TO PROVIDE DETAILS or to divulge my search methods. ---

I would have availed myself of their services except for a variety of reasons, namely:

Some are clearly sadists or sexual perverts. Some are inexperienced and lack proper knowledge of human anatomy. And most have no sterile facility. Sadly, I've had to rule all of these folks out.

I've also located a number of medical doctors, but almost all of them want "psychiatric letters." Then there is Dr. Kimmel. who while I cannot say anything good about him, I also cannot say anything good either.... The foreign clinics are just too far away and the risk of infection is a consideration.

Where is the GP or Veterinarian who will do the job after hours in their sterile clinic for a reasonable cash fee and provide follow up care and medications?

So for now I am back to DIY, despite my reservations about such methods.

What is your real issue with doing it the right way. The only issue I can understand is that you don't have the money. All of the other things you have said are not real issues if you want this bad enough. With DIY, The guys that do accomplish their goal usually butcher themselves in the process. I don't know if the Yahoo group still exists about DIY castrations, but they had some pretty scary pictures in there. There are also some on BME. One guy used zip ties to tie off the cords. It worked, but he had some bad scars to show for it. That is why I came up with the method I posted on your other thread. The only problem I see is getting the sutcher tight enough. The surgeon does basically the same thing except he takes the testicle out first and puts a stitch through the cord to keep the tie off from slipping off when the cord is cut. I've also never been too keen on leaving the dead testicle in there to desolve.

As for as getting a psych. letter, it's not difficult. They just want to know that you can make a rational decision and that you are not crazy. A good place to go for this is a therapist that deal with gender issues. Most large city's have someone to talk to. Just get on the phone and call until you find someone. On my last visit to see Dr. Alter before my surgery, I gave him my third letter, required in California, and he said "three shrinks should be enough". I asked him if he would help others from EA and he said he would, but he had to know that they weren't crazy. You can't blame him for that. You have to understand that in this world of sue happy people the doctors have to protect themselves.

Other issues you state is traveling alone and infection. There have been many others that have faced these problems and have managed quite well. Any more if you have a good surgeon, you don't have to worry about infection. If you just have castration, you will be OK to travel in 3 or for days. If you have your scrotum removed, you should be OK to travel in a week to ten days. I was back to work in 12 days driving trains at 70 mph on rough track.

The last problem is who do you get to do the job. Yes, there is always Dr. Kimmel. Maybe not the best, but better than DIY. I would suggest that you contact Dr. Reed in Florida, Dr. Marci Bowers,Trinidad, Colorado, Dr. Alter in California.

I don't remember why you want to be castrated, but you can find many resources on the transgender sites.

Like I said, if you want this bad enough you can make it happen. I did and it didn't take that long.

Yes Kangan I share in your frustration also because of no money, etc.

I haven't given up yet in having it done in a more proper way other than DIY.

This will be my absolute last choice and I will have to minimize all the risks possible. I have a feeling I won't have to take this route.

Money is not the primary issue, however, I do think that Dr. Kimmell is charging too much (but then all doctors are charging too much thanks to all the malpractice suits and high insurance prices).

Recovery at home is what I seek - or somewhere with friends who can take care of my needs while I recover. A strange city or foreign country will not do for me.

Since I don't live near any big cities, seeking out a TG shrink or clinic is not possible. I am a married non-TG male that wants to still look and act male, but without any desire for sex with anyone other than my wife. This must be a permanent irreversible change, or I would be tempted to revert to my former promiscuous and dangerous behavior. I have modified my behavior though mental conditioning, but it is a strain. Removal of excess T through castration would be a great relief, but injecting drugs are not for me.

Right now, I am experimenting with a clamping method that so far has not caused any appreciable pain or bad effects other than testicular shrinkage, however, I do not know if it is a permanent solution. I have found some other avenues to explore, but most of them are undesireable for reasons previously stated at the beginning of this thread.

If I were TG and lived in a major metropolitan area, I wouldn't be writing this as help would be available.

Where are the clinics and doctors for helping a non-TG M-to-E who lives in a very backwards and rural area?

I thought I had located a reliable Burdizzo person to assist me, as I don't trust my homemade DIY burdizzo tool. But they have turned out to be a total liar and pervert like all the rest. I wanted it done with local anesthetic to dull or eliminate the pain, but they are truly sadistic and insist on me feeling the "crunch" and all the pain that goes with it just to get their jollies.

--- STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THESE FOLKS!!!! ---

So now the only choices are Thailand, Dr. Kimmell, or DIY.

Forget about trying to find a "cutter" on the Internet.
