Hello All,

I purchased the professional version of naturalreader software for a project I am working on. I have the female voice Crystal. It's not perfect, and it still sounds kind of machine like, but it's the best I have heard so far without spending in the 1000s. I recently copied and pasted some stories into it. It has an automatic function that converts the text to an mp3 audio file. Basically, I can take an archive story and make a sound file in a decent female voice. I don't want any authors to get upset, but if members would like, I would be willing to take stories they want audio of and convert them to mp3, pending permission from authors or site admins. Sometimes it's nice not to have to scroll with the mouse while enjoying a story....it allows the hands to be busy elsewhere :P

I'd love to hear Patrick Stewart or Ron Perlman read me some stories. lol.. Edward Norton? Jennifer Charles? A person's voice is by far the most attractive aspect of a person for me. :D

I seem to recall some years back, I think it was either IBM or Microsoft had this demo of this voice reader thingie on their website that was just amazing. Anyways this sounds like a good idea.

I can type exceptionally well (swift and accurate) with my left hand. I have porn to thank for this (thank you Porn).

OH MY! OH MY MY MY! This IS an interesting development! You can artificially change your voice?! I mean, even from male to female? I think that would be sooooo cool! I would make a fortune selling "books on tape" with female narration!

Where can I buy this "

" and how much does it cost? Will my crummy little old PC run it? Can I synthesize a really sexy female voice? Or does it still sound like a machine?
