My Depro Experience

I've been on Depro for a couple of months now. I start with 300mg then a week later another 150mg, 2 weeks later another 150mg, and then every 3 weeks.

It has slowed down my sex drive alot. But I do find I want "intimacy", and this seems to be working well for my wife and I. I'm more attentive to her.

My lower back hurts a day or so after the injection, I have some hot flashes but nothing major, tire easier, and don't sleep quite as well, but not too bad.

I was not a thin guy to begin with (225lb), but started walking for 1 hour every day when I started on Depro, and I'm about 220 now, so no weight gain, and no feminization, might shave a little less

If excited enough, I can getting an erection, but don't even get them in the morning anymore. I'm often happy to satisfy my wife when she wishes with no thought of my own, which is a nice feeling.

So far I've been happy with Depro, I thought the injections would be a big deal, but they are pretty easy.

This Forum gave my the information I needed, and the courage to try, since the sexual mismatch between my wife and I caused problems. Now she could noy be happier, she initiates all the intercourse, and I swear we make love more, because I'm no longer bugging her. Kind of ironic.

Interesting what you said about your wife initiating more and more sex. Same here. This started even before the effects of DP hit. I think my wife had felt more at ease. This is very true now as she knows she only gets intimacy on her schedule, which is far more frequently than when I was making the suggestions.

I am glad it is working out for you.

Some time ago, I had my own depo provera experience. I wish depo provera was available in the U.S. without a perscription.
