Does anyone know if Dr Kimmel is still practicing...?? I have made up my mind to contact him and see if I can schedule an appointment to have an Orchiectomy, have my scrotum removed and would like to have a urethral re-route if he will do it.... If anyone has any info on this subject please let me know as I would like to know my chances of having all the above done before I contact him.... I have three different insurance companies so, I hope between all three it will not cost my anything or if so, very little... My wife will accompany me on the trip and be there during the procedure. Later I would like to bid the penis goodby as well.... Can't afford the SRS therefore this process would be the next best thing.... 🙋

Would appreciate any info anyone can offer.

At his age you'd think he wouldn't need to practice. You'd think that after all that time he'd know what he was doing.

This guy is a Urologist who will do a castration with little to none questions. But from what I hear he will only take cash for this procedure. I've got plenty of insurance but I don't have $2000 to $3500 cash laying around.... I guess if I can't find someone to do what I want, I will have to do it myself... :o)

id stay away from him..little to none questions?

no way!!! Thats not the way a doctor should be, anytype of doctor.

I was recently refused for plastic "surgery" and it wasnt even surgery it was injections!!1 I still want them (you have no idea how much......). but im glad he said what he thought, that i did not need them-instead of just injecting me for the money..

doctors need ethics, even if sometimes you may rather they would bend the rules-but its all for our wellbeing...

I wouldnt go see this guy, please dont-and please do not take it into your own hands!!!!!

I wouldn't respond to any knee-jerk reactions about Kimmel. Read the various threads and posts about him, call his office perhaps. Speak here with others who have used his services. He has assisted quite a few of our members, and currently is the only surgeon in the US who will routinely assist our members. His prices are exceedingly cheap compared to most alternatives. Guage your own level of comfort, sense of safety, and make your own choices. Were I in such a position, I believe I would avail myself of his services. My opinion.

To Kimmel or not to Kimmel: that is the question.

I'd go in a minute if I had a nearby friend's house to crash at afterwards. It's the travel to a strange city that scares me more than anything else.

As for DIY - been there tried that - never again.

Is this the guy from Green Acres that was always trying to sell Mr. Douglas a truck load of some fancy gadgets?
