I had my testosterone level checked with a mail order saliva test this past Friday. For those of you wondering about this the entire test costs $30 dollars for just testosterone, and you don't need a doctor to have the test done. I had my test 3 days after ordering it online, and I took it on the following day. You can opt for a full hormone screening for about $70 or you can choose just testosterone like I did. They send you a vile to fill with your saliva which takes about 1 hour to fill up, and it must be done as soon as you wake up in the morning before you drink or eat anything. All you are allowed to do which is recommended, is to wash your mouth out with water. Then you send it back in a prepaid envelope and wait for the results to be mailed back to you. I think if you are considering taking anti-androgens without a doctor's care that having your hormone levels checked is a good idea before you start. And since it's cheap and easy to do, its also a good idea to follow up the first test with one after the first month to determine your progress so you can adjust your dosage levels without taking too much medication. Then you can follow it up later on so you can keep track of your "T" levels in order for you can get them as close to your personal goal as possible.

My Tamoxifen and my Androcur arrived today from Masters Marketing. The total wait from the time I ordered it to the day it arrived was an impressive 7 days. The quick turn around time is very useful when your just starting out with your first test order because it gives you time to reorder before you run out, and a little time to test out the drugs effects before you decide to stick with the regimine.

I'm still not sure but I might start on this stuff tomorrow or I might wait a week. The last week has been pretty stressful which is the reason I'm hesitant to start right away; but I've heard that lowering your "T" level can reduce stress, so taking it asap is sounding better all the time.

I'm still not exactly sure on the dosage yet, and I probabely won't be until I know how my body will react. Originally I was thinking about 100 mg per day of Androcur and 40 of tamoxifen for 10 days and then dropping it down to 50 mg per day of androcur and 20 mg per day of tamoxifen. Now I'm thinking about staying on 100 mg per day of androcur along with 20 per day of tamoxifen until I'm fully neutered and then dropping the androcur down to 50 mg per day to see what happens.

where do you order the tests?

I took a similar test when I was into chemical castration (androcur) after more then a year. The test results were very close to the readings I got from a test my doctor did some months later. Knowing where you start at and how you are doing after being on a drug for a while is very good information. No use taking more of a drug then is needed to stop the balls from working.

Having a liver blood test is also very important to keep getting. Do not know of test you can get for that other then from a doctor.
