sight of injection site

when i was castrated back in October of 2006, dr.K informed me that there would be two small back patches on my groin from the numbing injections. He had also told me that these would lighten and go away. Now the stumps of the vessels one feeding my testis have dissolved, yet the tainted stain still remains from the injections!

Do any others have this black mark on either side of there penis from surgical castration performed in office, by dr.K or other?

Has anyones gone away?

will this discoloration last a life time?

i don't really like it, it looks dirty rather than rosy!

I don't recall bruising at all but that whole week was kind of fuzzy heck I slept for 36hours after surgery.

Hmm.

the spot on the right where the first injection was is more visible. Mr.K, said they would go away, yet i see them to this day. i do not think that they are bruises, rather permanent marring. Dr.K went over the coloration with me before the surgery, surly some one else was told of this effect as well?

Wow! You have some of the most bizarre after effects (swollen penis - marks from injections, etc.). Why a hypodermic needle would leave a permanent mark is beyond me. Sounds like one more reason NOT to use Dr. Kimmel.

I have never heard of marks being made that last from just an injection. This does not seem right at all. All bruising was gone in a matter of days with my castration.

I suspect there is an unknown common factor to both this bruising and your erection anomaly. I've searched my memory for others who have had these problems without recalling anyone else with a similar situation. --FLO--

He didn't do something stupid like mark the location with a pen before giving you the shots, did he? If so, that could have left you with a unwanted tattoo. It sounds pretty bizarre.

That would explain it! If true then Kimmel has lost it. [sigh]

Speaking of Kimmel... I urgently need to go visit my aunt who lives in the Philadelphia area. (No, I cannot stay at her place, and no, I cannot discuss such things with her. She is 87.) But I am thinking about stopping in to check the doctor out. And then... I might join the class of 2007... or not....
