I posted my first three ballbusting stories on this site a couple of weeks back and still have not heard comment one on them. Maybe I'm just an egomaniac who desperately craves attention, but I really want to know what people thought about my "On The Job" trilogy. I have several other stories to share, but if no one cares then I won't bother. I just really want to know, so please... someone post.

People ARE reading and enjoying the stories. The message boards have been very quiet the last month, which happens occasionally.

I have been at this a long time and have seen that activity goes in waves ... all of the sudden EVERYONE will be chatting and posting, then NO ONE will be chatting and posting.

A large, LARGE number of people read (258,363 hits on stories ALONE last week, not counting any other pages on this site) yet there are probably under 30 people who regularly post here.

People are out there lurking though, so hang in there and keep posting!

Bust, don’t worry too much about getting comments on all your stories. I’ve been posting stories here since 1998. Sometimes a story will hit someone’s hot button and they will post comments on the board immediately. I have also had stories that seemed to be ignored for six months or more, then the emails would begin to trickle in to my mailbox commenting on my story.

Also there is a wide range of interest here. Some very well-written stories don’t interest certain people because they’re not into that particular fetish or persuasion. Sometimes (often in my case) people don’t have time to read all the stories they would like to read.

I actually thought I had responded to your first story, "On the Job", about the guy getting ball busted by his female boss. That was hot! "Severance Pay" was just as well written, but I’m not into stories about guys eating fecal matter so I didn’t like that one as well as the first. That’s not really a comment on your story quality, but just a statement of my personal tastes (no pun intended). I think it would be very difficult for me to be an objective reviewer of stories, movies, etc. because so much of what I like depends on arbitrary likes and dislikes. Your stories were fine.

As a matter of fact, that helped a LOT, Farrell. I know that not everyone's going to like every story, and I knew when I wrote it that "Business Dinner" would gain as many negative responses as positive ones, because it's kind of off-beat for this forum. I just thought it was interesting to show what a guy would go through to save his sex drive.

Anyway, because of your kind words, I dug up another of my classic tales, a story called "Detention". Over at TLC net it was my biggest hit, so it'll be interesting to see how it does here. Please read it and let me know what you think.

I really liked DETENTION, which I just let out of the 'tank'. Don't get too unwound with lack of feedback, Burst. That's usually always a problem here. It was even worse before there was a sectioned board with a writer feedback area. Many of the older members probaby remember the days of when - if someone made a story comment on the EA board, it was a very momentous thing! If you don't have an email address set up with your postings, do that too. I've gotten more feedback that way than on the boards.
