Androcur vs. Spiro? Which is more feminising?

Hello everybody. I'm a first time poster with a question for all, but first a little about me. I'm 32, a cross dresser, and been on Spiro for about 6 months at 200mg per day. Over the past week I've bumped that up to 400 per day. Whilst talking to my psyke yesterday he said that I should try Androcur as it has more feminising qualities than the Spiro does. So my question here is, which has had the greater effect with people here? Andro or Spiro?
And Yes, I do understand that most people here take not for that effect, but there is a wealth of experience here that I would like to share in.
Thanx, Shayde

Thats a pretty high dose. Have you considered taking estrogen supplements for a feminizing effect?

I take androcur 50mg and estrofem 2 mg per day and it works great. I have nice boobs and buns and almost no body hair now. Tried spiro and it did nothing. email me direct if you wish.

More or less steady for about a year. You will notice reduced sex interest combined with a difficulty getting erect in a few weeks, especially at that level. As I said I have nice boobs and butt and lost most body hair. By now my penic is tiny and balls too. Hope to get rid of balls next year.

I have already lost my sex drive, as I've been on the Androcur for a little over two months now. but I've just started taking the Estrofem about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I'm just hoping for some results, but i guess i must be patient.
Just to answer Shayde's question, I have read somewhere that Spiro gives you more feminine results, but have a look on here (

Hope this helps

If 400mg of the Spiro seems like a high dose, then I should add the fact that at 200mg a day, I was still able to get and maintain erections, and sex drive didn't really get any lower for me, but it was never that high to begin with, so that makes it hard to tell of an effect. Aggressive behaviour stayed just as high, although I was starting to lose control more frequently. As for an estrogen supplement, I am currently trying to convince my shrink to prescribe them, as a 'trial' to see if it helps with my depression and aggression problems. The shrink already knows that I am pretty sure that these problems stem for my transgenderistic nature. I am unable to use places like in house pharmacy as customs will seize the items. So until I have him convinced, I'm stuck in the rut of using only what I can get prescribed. But as they say, "Such is Life'.

Drugs have different result on different people, if your still getting erections on that sort of dosage, then maybe you should ask your doctor for Androcur. But as I said, Even though it has worked for me, with half the dosage you are taking, it may not be the same for you.
I started on 200mg Androcur and when I have no more erections or desire to have sex I cut down to 100mg, but just recently have found that dose to be too low, so I am now on 150mg.
I don't know this for sure, but maybe my sex drive is slightly coming back, because I am taking the estrogens and am getting a female drive. This may be totally wrong but , it’s just something I have read on these boards.
Anyway, I see that you are new here, welcome to the mad house, and if you have any more questions just fire away. ohh, and keep us informed of how you get on.
