Protecting the liver

For all of you taking homones and medications that have toxic effects on the liver. I read some articles about a proven, highly bioavailable silymarin extract. It is said to significantly improve liver function status and a good protection against all toxic matters. (It is for instance used when having a toxication by the death cap mushroom)

Of course this cannot be a substitution to frequent med. checks of the blood but maybe it helps maintaining the condition of the liver.
