A 'STR8' eunuch is no different from any other 'STR8' except that he has been rendered sterile in some fashion. Statistically speaking, it is probable that the majority of Eunuchs are 'STR8', since the majority of men are castrated for medical reasons (about 10,000 per annum, if my memory does not fail me).
A large number of Eunuchs take some form of HRT, either testosterone based or oestrogen based.
There are many, diverse reasons why a man becomes a Eunuch - you only have to read a few posts on this board to see that and there are similarly many diverse reasons why a Eunuch is, or is not, taking HRT. So to be able to identify differences in viewpoint is probably cloud cuckoo land.

Aloysine,
Welcome to the Archive. While youve been a registered member for a while, I see that this is your first post. I want to make a couple of comments on your post, one mechanical and the other substantive.
1) When responding to an existing post or thread, its always best to do it as a reply to the thread in question. Theres a button labelled <POST REPLY> at both the top and bottom of each thread that takes you to a text box where you can add your response to the on-going discussion. Starting a new thread like this makes it difficult to keep the conversation connected.
2) More to the point, Eunuch Archive members seems to split into about thirds: gay, straight, and bi-sexual. Some, of course, would be considered asexual with little or no interest at all in sexuality. The larger eunuch population, including the huge number of medical eunuchs, would tend to fall much closer to the general population with the greater number of them being straight.
Prostate cancer eunuchs are the largest group, by far, with Medicare alone paying for over 80,000 castrations per year in the United States. Most of these are chemical, rather than surgical, and drugs for chemical castration are the second largest medicare pharmaceutical expenditure (after cholestorol reducing drugs). For prostate cancer eunuchs, the only HRT that would be possible is estrogen, since the reason for their castration is to remove the testosterone that prostate cancer requires from their system. The estrogen would be useful to counter some of the side effects of androgen deprivation, such as osteoporosis and a low dose would induce little or no feminization beyond what happens in the absence of testosterone.
Among voluntary eunuchs, about 40% use no HRT, and the other 60% are split about evenly between estrogen and testosterone, most taking only low doses. Again, to counter the negative side effects.
