Depo Provera injection & voice changes
Does anybody know if there are voice changes (higher) after the Depo Provera injection of 150ml vial?
Thanks!
Thanks!

There should not be any voice changes with Depo Provera or any other libido reducing agent. --FLO--

Once the male voice goes through puberty and deepens it will not change back.

Does the injection need to be into the muscle in the butt, near the top portion of the butt cheek?

Yes, but great care must be taken to avoid the many important nerve paths in that area. Also there are a lot of small blood vesses that have to be taken into consideration. An injection into a blood vessel is not at all desirable. --FLO--

Hi Uncle FLO
I was thinking about this also. It must be extremely difficult to do it by yourself as you can't see what your doing. LOL
Is there no were else to inject it? and what happens if you hit a nerve or a blood vessel?

Re: Depo Provera injection & voice changes
Hitting a nerve can damage the nerve thus producing numbness or, in extreme cases, function problems. Not likely to be permanent but more than slightly possible. Injecting into a blood vessel will send the hormone solution directly to your system instead of releasing it slowly as you intend. Apart from the possibilities of suddenly having entirely too much in your system the desired effect won't happen as planned. You will not get the benefit of long term slow release therefore wasting your time and money spent on the injection. As to other suitable injection sites I'll have to defer to someone else. I don't know if another large muscle (such as the thigh) is suitable for the purpose. --FLO--

Re: Depo Provera injection & voice changes
I use the upper part of my leg for injections. I was taught by the doctor where the proper place is. There is about a two inch radius midline on the top of the leg (in the sitting position) about six inches down from the crease where the leg meets the abdomin. There is more on how to use injectables in this thread. (http://www.eunuch.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=8434)

Thanks Christina that thread was very helpfull
Threads like these should maybe become stickys or the details put in the FAQ section IMO, as its something people who are going to take meds via injection should be aware of.
I feel very shacky and nervus about injecting my self, where you like that when you first started?
