Not really. Just takes some folks a bit of time. Welcome to the zoo.

I know the feeling. It is hard to find anyone willing to talk with or carry on a conversation with on a regular basis for me as well. I live in Oregon and have been running into the same thing you have.

I have been wanting to explore this in more depth as well before I take the final leap if you will. I have found it hard to locate anyone in my area to explore this with.

I have had these feelings since I was around 10-13 yrs old and they have only gotten stronger. Now I want to explore them more in depth and adventually take the leap but finding people to have fun with is the hard part in my area as well. Good Luck and if there is anyone in the portland, Oregon or vancouver washington area that is on this list and wants to help me get back to me as well...

There have been several Gatherings of the Clan at locations around the U.S., with more planned for the coming year. They will be announced on the Eunuch Central board and are open to all members here. They are a great opportunity to meet and talk with some of the folk you read here.

Currently being organized is a gathering in Toronto (http://www.eunuch.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=10510) in early April.

For zhodiac7's question about the Portland area, there was a gathering on the first weekend of August last year with three exciting days of conversation among eleven of us. The next West Coast gathering is likely to be in either the San Francisco Bay Area or in the Los Angeles area sometime in late spring or early summer, though I would like to see another gathering in Portland, since I visit there regularly.

Gatherings have been held in Washington, DC and in the upper Midwest as well and there is a proposal out for a gathering in England as well.

So far there has been nothing in the Massachusetts/New England area, but one needs to be organized, as does one somewhere in the Southeast.

Bobbie has been serving as the Social Director and suggestions might be directed to him for time and location.
