Can anyone offer insights into health risks associated with keeping the nuts permanently stored up inside their pubic pockets by the 'tucking' technique? Only one I've heard about is that testes are supposed to be kept a degree or so cooler than mean body temp, (hence their dwelling place in the hairy dangling scrote) and that being too hot can harm sperm production, which is not really an issue for me.

It's a fantastic idea, and you should find out as much as you can about this concept and procedure. Good luck to you!

One theory is that there is an increased risk of testicular cancer. I don't know how well researched that is, but obviously checking for cancer would be very difficult, and the best chance for survival is early detection...are the risks worth it?

Nature did one of those dirty tricks with me. My testicles have never dropped, well not for very far anyway. They are non functional, and reside full time in the inguinal canal. I am regularly at the urologists, and he does a blood test to watch for cancer markers.
I am proof that it won't necessarily cause cancer, but if you put them there it will increase your risk.

The relocation of the balls in the groin can be surgically performed and has been. This person had a sex change but kept the testicles.
If you look at the second photo you will see the location of the testes (t) Location.

Would like to know more too. I love the feeling of them pushed up in there with the scrotum empty. Does anyone know of any guys who have had them permanently sewn up there by scrotal removal? I crave that sometimes.

raymar,
If your testicles are non-functional and they put you at a greater risk for cancer, why doesn't your urologist remove them? I would tell him/her to just take them out, what difference will it make. There are some women who are actually having their breasts removed because of the high rate of breast cancer that runs in their family.

I wonder if a man comes from a family where there is a high incidence of prostate cancer, whether he could use that as an excuse to get an bilateral orchiectomy? Hash
P.S. There is a transsexual dentist who had her testicles placed up inside of her instead of having them removed.

Hash,
Thanks for your concern. Honestly , there have been a dozen different urologists who refused to remove them, in spite of their total uselessness.
I am currently seeing one who will cheerfully do it, but for the health insurance company. They have steadfastly refused to approve the procedure. Both doctor and myself have argued with them , that this nominal cost procedure would have long term benefits and COULD prevent cancer. They have still refused. The doctor will not act without their blessing, as it could affect my insurability in the long term if I have a procedure that is not approved.
We are waiting for our day in front of the State Insurance Commission, I filed a claim with them to force coverage for the surgery. The wheels of the Commission turn slowly , and while we were hoping to be heard in May 2008, its now more likely that they won't hear my case til september or october.
My Urologist has a personal relationship with one of the doctors that advise the Commission, and review cases. He's assured us that he feels that I should have the procedure. Hopefully his opinion will prevail, or failing that , that the Commission will allow that I can pay for it myself, and not be adversely affected insurance wise.

Been doing a little research myself on this issue because I had one nut removed long ago since it was undescended, now I have one that freely moves up into my inguinal canal. Seems that this is call either a "retractable" testicle or an "Ascending" testicle - it refers to the situation when a testicle having descended moves back up the canal - it is usually temporary but it seems that in certain situations a testicle can remain ascended.
Haven't found anything that says it is something terrible just that it makes palpating the testicle for potential cancer difficult. The other thing is that since the testicle is in the canal it remains warmer than in the sac and thus can hinder sperm production.
I rather like the smooth feeling when mine is residing in the canal and am also wondering how I get it to stay up there so if anyone finds a way please share.

Raymar, that is very unusual. They usually drop in very early infancy. Has this hindered your voice from changing as dramatically as a normal male's would? ( Do you speak with a high tenor voice perhaps? )
Regarding this technique, I am quite interested in it as well. Could it decrease testosterone production by some degree?
