Heaven's Gate

I just remembered: some of the members of the infamous Heaven's Gate cult were eunuchs along with their leader, Marshall Applewhite.
Allegedly, the only way for the male members to pass onto the mothership (or whatever) was if they were to be "pure" (i.e. no sexual desires whatsoever) thus castration.
But, apparently, the real story behind the castrations originated with Marshall himself. It is said, all those years ago, he had some nagging homosexual tendancies. And he felt so ashamed about it all, that the only way for him to get rid of those tendancies was for him to be castrated.
Thus, his followers followed suit (though for different reasons, obviously).
So, all you eunuchs here, you all are eligible to pass onto the MOTHERSHIP!
