Being castrated was always a fantasy of mine, in these fantasies it was always women that castrate me.
I used to have healty testicles and fabulous erections when I was younger, which my wife and I jointly enjoyed.
Over the years, due to a more general medical condition of mine (i.e. not limited to sex organs) my testicle shrunk, and sex drive signifacantly reduced. Having any sort of erection take LONG time and intense stimulation effort, and, even when I do finaly have an erection it isn't strong enough to penetrate.
I feel as if I have been castrated, which is not to say I suffer or anything like that. I just notice that sexy women do not make me horny anymore, even if I try to undress them in my mind. From time to time I contemplate weather or not I should go to a doctor, ask for T levels tests and perhaps start HRT, just to feel what it's like to be a 'man' again, but I am too shy to go for it.
I am 40 so I think I could enjoy a few more years of sex drive and erection.
On the other hand, the new feeling of having the female sex parter play with my flaccid penid for minutes without having to erupt is interesting and enjoyable, an exciting combination of humiliation and i feeling can't quiet define to myself.

Having been there I can tell you that I feel life went 1000x better on HRT. Having your Doctor find out whats going on would be a good idea if for no other reason then to check for medical worries.

From what you describe, you may very well be a functional (or non-functional) eunuch. What your description suggests is some form of atrophy of your testes, with a loss of testosterone production. I would definitely suggest a visit with your physician for a blood test. There may very well be issues that are significant that this is a sign of, and you should know about. Or it just might be something that spontaneously occurred. Or it could be that they have been damaged in some way do you play that way?
Keep in mind that it doesnt take testes, hormones, or fuck-ability to make a man. Cock and balls and their use are merely an indicator. Other things are the telling cause .
Forty is definitely a young age, and should be the start of many more years of fucking, if desired. Many men enjoy an active sex life to quite an old age, though it may well not be as active as in younger years . (slowly carefully ). On the other hand, you may well have had your fantasy fulfilled, and it just might be that you either have to choose to live with it, or if possible, utilize some HRT.

MRT and Kristoff are both right here. Your health is much more important than a little embarrassment. I know, I put off being straight forward with my doctor about my issues and that just led to other problems. Lots of guys have testicle problems and doctors are trained to deal with those problems. Put your embarrassment aside and get help.

Has your doctor checked your prolactin level? Most doctors have outdated information on prolactin producing tumors. They are not rare and not exclulsively a woman's problem. You have a 22 to 24 percent chance of having one during your lifetime, man or woman, and in a man they produce the symptoms you describe. I know, I have one.
It hit me around age 40 and I went from virile, well-hung stud to eunuch over a period of years. The doctors won't look for this! They think that it's rare, and their attitude is, "If you hear hoofbeats you look for horses, not zebras." It took me 12 years to be properly diagnosed. In that time I went from 170 pounds with heavy balls and an eight inch dick to 270 pounds and a six and one-half inch dick. I also grew a very nice pair of breasts thanks to having a prolactin level six times higher than a lactating woman.
My tumor is inoperable, but thankfully, can be suppressed by either of two medications, both expensive, and both with side effects that take some getting used to. I am now back down to around 200 pounds, and don't need a bra, but the tescticles are dead, shrivelled to the size of garbanzo beans and producing no testosterone. Even though I am on HRT the dick hasen't regained it's size, but it works fine now. Since my testicles will never regenerate I have been considering a surgical castration just to get the smooth look and for the shock value at the spa. My wife is OK with it but my doctor is very reluctant. If there are ever any medical reasons that I have to discontinue the HRT I will be a complete eunuch.

If you go on HRT and have one of these tumors it will grow wildly in reaction to it. It's a petuitary (considered a brain) tumor and if it grows too large you will finally get a proper diagnosis...when you go blind!
If you haven't had it checked, talk to your doctor. If he pooh-pooh's the idea, see another doctor.
