Body Hair

I will be starting Depo Provera in a couple of weeks (a few financial situations to get worked out before I can place the order) and I'm wondering what effect it will have on my body hair. One of the effect of castration listed is a reduction in facial/body hair. I've already had my facial hair removed but the rest of my body hair is still quite thick.... check, stomach, back, shoulders, etc... I'm sure it's one of those 'your mileage may vary' kind of things but I'd be curious to know what other peoples experiences have been in regards to body hair.

I had better luck with body hair reduction using Spironolactone 100mg twice a day. When I was on just Depo Provera alone, my hair started to regrow. Where as the Spiro took me from being being very hairy to no back or chest hair. So, I added Spiro back to my regime of Depo Provera to make the best combination. Spiro alone did not lower my sexual drive to the levels I wanted.

Good luck on trial chemical castration.

Just curious: would this have any effect whatsoever

on hair in other places (face, armpits, bush) ?

How hard is it to get a prescription?

I used inhousepharmacy.com to obtain the Spironolatone. No prescription necessary by using the internet. I have never approached a Physician about a prescription, it is FDA approved though.

The hair in other places is still there but grows much more slowly. The remaining hair lightened to a light blond from a dark brown color and is more fine than before taking Spiro.
