That is truly disturbing.. Like seeing your kid brother naked.

I think that this is a wonderful idea for him and the best move that he could have made. I often wondered what would happen to him after his time doing Harry Potter ended. There are only two more movies to be filmed and he hopes for a career that lasts longer than these movies. Obviously, he is doing his best not to be type-casted in only one roll. Indeed, the type of actor who can pull off a different character in each new show/film are the ones that I think have the most talent. I guess that is why I prefer Matt Damon and Johnny Depp over Tom Cruise. It's good to see that Daniel is trying to aspire to be like them.

I wonder if he will be able to pull of this role. It is a very difficult play that is a real head game for the actors involved. There are very few characters and therefor the show rests squarely on the shoulders of only a few people. Also, he is used to doing film. In film, if something doesn't work out you can shoot it again. Also, you don't have to memorize long monologues for the scenes are usually shot in many parts. Additionally, onstage things always go wrong and you must be ready to improvise and keep in character at the same time that you are reeling from being thrown a curve ball by the actor onstage wtih you.

I hope that he will be able to adjust to this new medium and subject matter. Indeed, it is a big jump from the films.

The thing is, the Potter movies aren't done, and Radcliffe's new role is inconsistent with the sexlessness that makes Potter seem harmless to people who confuse sexlessness with goodness. There are a lot of sad people like that, so the producers have to think of all the lost dubloons. As it is, there's been a chorus of critics saying Radcliffe and the two others are too old now, or will be before the Potter series is over. This might give the producers the excuse they need to can him. And Radcliffe may find the ability to romance a horse is not all it's cracked up to be.

Radcliffe looks buff in the photo. But I doubt he'd make love with a fat old man like me for love or money, so what use is he? Better he should get back to moping about Voldemort. After old Voldy finally bites it, I wonder what future there'll be for Harry. He's a B+ student with few useful skills. When the backslapping and free butterbeers end, he'll probably become an auror. But without V, the profession will seem rather deflated, like Donald Trump minus Viagra. When he's 60, Harry will chat up young men in taverns by asking "you know who I used to be?" It's all too awful. Only the horse will stay loyal, and they'll visit Brokeback Mountain every summer.

Daniel Radcliffe has also recently been a guest star on the British comedy series “Extras”, which is being broadcast in the U.S. on HBO. Below is a piece of the official summary of Episode #9 from the HBO web site. There are several additional places in the half-hour episode where Radcliffe brandishes his extra large condom….

“In spite of his feckless agent, Andy is offered a speaking part in a Daniel Radcliffe film. He also lands Maggie some extra work - and an eager young suitor, Harry Potter himself. First we get the story of him nude in "Equus", then he shows up in a boy scout uniform in "Extras".

What we must keep in mind here is that Harry Potter is not real.

Daniel is.

He is an actor.

It is his choice of roles.

Everyone who has a problem with this needs to grow up - or get shot. I don't care which. Especially parents of children who think of him as their role model, raising such a fuss over this.

Harry is fictional.

Daniel is real.

Repeat.

He has male genitals...oh the shock!

So Harry Potter has been moonlighting as Daniel Radcliffe. I wouldn't hold it against him, if only he'd hold me against him. It's brilliant cover for Harry to conceal his life as a wizard by acting as an actor acting the part of a wizard. There might be a future for him yet. I wouldn't want to see him join the same club as Luke Skywalker or W. "Amadeus" Mozart. Not to mention Ryan O'Neal.
