First I would like to express that I am happy to have found this community.

Reading over time all the articles has helped me to start with Androcur some 10 weeks ago. I am very pleased about my reduced libido and about the reduction in sex interest. Yes I can still get an erection but it takes effort and time and does not happen by itself. I had absolutely no desire to masturbate and this is a change for me in the last weeks. I feel I have gained more time for myself and my interests. All in all I am very satisfied and hope to stay that way for the future to come.

The only side effect I am worried about is that I have less force and get tired very quickly. I never had this in such an intensity before, so I do not think that it is the season only. Anyone some tips what I could do? I do supplement vitamin D and calcium.

Some mtf transsexuals I know has described the same feelings of becoming tired and sometimes lacking in strength - maybe even willpower. They also explained that either it wears off a bit or you get used to it.

Another person who was born with the 47-XXY syndrome that I met through another forum, said the opposite thing about when he was put on synthetic testostereon - he said the feeling he had had for all his life of tiredness just went away.

It's difficult to say which is the effect of what, but it is still the reason why I'm a bit more sceptical to castration then penectomy myself. (I'm not that energetic even now...)

I've been on Andocur & Temoxefin for a little over 8 months. For me, there has been a noticable lose of strength. Before it was not difficult to handle a 4'x8' piece of 3/4 plywood -- now I have to work at it. Also feel tired more easily. At time tiredness appears like hotflashes -- it comes on quiclky and then soon passes.

Don't know if this helps you, but this i my experience. I willingly accept these 'negatives' to be without the high libido I had before.

How much Androcur are you taking on a daily basis ?

Try to figure out a maintenance dosis, who will be less, than what you are taking now.

You have weakened your libido, in 10 weeks, try now a reduced dosis, and watch your libido.if it gets stronger again, you need to increase your maintenance dosis. Try to figure out the lowest possible maintenance dosis, thereby reducing your drug consuption, will be easier on your body .

Thank's for your remarks and tip's so far. Today I am on 50mg Androcur per day. As I used have a very strong sex desire I am not sure if I should reduce even more as now when I have some thoughts about sex I feel a strong pressure from my penis. I will probably just have to live with it.

Can any one tell me if a switch over to DP can help in this matter.

You might want to look into e stim as an alternative sex outlet.

Having weakened your sex drive with a daily androcur ration, perhaps e stim can deal with the remaining.
