Failing finding a cutter, banding is one option In am looking at too, I do have a supply of both the red and green bands, I have found out that there is another variety of the green bands that is extra tight do anyone know anything about these?

Good Luck with your quest Alco!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...........are you thinkng of the...EZE Bander......((think that is the trade name))..............It is a heavy duty deal.....suitable for full grown bulls etc??

It uses latex tubing.....and the tubing is tightened...and held closed by a metal clip............((See Banding1)).......in the story archives:D

They do make a stronger tighter green band I have used both. I found them at cattle feed store. they were made by stone mfg. of Kansas city. they are definently tighter
